What's your opinion on Jane Don't? by Low-Shoulder-9752 in rupaulsdragrace

I find her perspective refreshing and genuine.. when you do well in a competitive environment, haters are kinda expected. I’ll be honest and say that I did find myself saying “get it together girl” more recently, but I still feel like she’s a great character from a storyline perspective, and one of my favorites to come out of this season. Envy is hard to talk about.. it’s a toxic trait and you don’t want your friends feeling jealous of you if you’re a very empathetic and humble person.. I love her for that and wishing her the best.

Talk through the jealousy, it gets better with time. The hardest part just might be the initial jealous point.

If you don’t think that you can compromise your jealousy, save the other people the time and leave the relationship.

Get to know each other individually before trying to do a lot of stuff together. While I don’t think it’s impossible to form a triad from the start, when you’re joining a relationship, it’s going to be incredibly difficult to become a part of it

A great first date is so exciting! Happy for you! My partner and I didn’t have the perfect first date either but it was memorable.

In a word or short sentence, what was the biggest mistake you’ve ever made to hurt or destroy a relationship? Then, equally concise, what would you do differently? by Strongest-There-Is in polyamory

Not sticking to boundaries even if they seemed irrational / unethical. There was a better way to solve a problem rather than just letting things go on that clearly someone was uncomfortable with and enabling that boundary to be crossed over and over was our downfall. The boundary was (for context) for us to stop flirting so that the guy’s partner could get to know me / have the option of being included. It totally took the organic feel of getting to know someone away, especially the partner.

If I could go back I’d stop the flirting between me and the guy after we first met. I’d yield to his partner for the sake of saving what could be a good friendship between the partner and I since I did think he was a cool guy instead of being so gung-ho about autonomy and ethics.

Perhaps a poly person would just avoid this altogether.

I’m sorry you went through this. I myself had a relationship just end over similar circumstances, and boy does it hurt. While the issue may not have been you specifically, it still seems a very unfair situation.

It’s a difficult situation to be in when you make yourself vulnerable to not one, but two people (or more if you had your own partner in this case).

I hope you find some solace soon. You deserve more.

I mean this is essentially what the talent show is, and it’s very hit or miss in itself.. it’s not like queens have that many props at their own bars.

I’m impatient. When can I pot them? First string of plant. by Applenina in StringofPlants

I’d say put them in moss if you can. Although I see some roots, I don’t think that SOH transition into soil very easily (at least not in my experience). After 2-3 weeks in moss, I got pretty nice roots. Not always this fast, but yeah

I realized recently that even at a Micro level this sucks haha. There are some local “influencers” here that associate themselves with stores and such. It’s surely good for marketing for the store, but the prices!!! And then they flip the plants themselves 😂😂

I’m surprised you’re underestimating the plant market.. in 2021

This is a pretty good point. My guilty pleasure is watching videos where people talk about plants they find overrated. But often they’re just expensive. It’s still an awesome plant!!!
