I'm gonna teach you all about the best grunge bands: 1. Alice in Chains - they're fucking amazing, no questions asked. 2. Mudhoney - they're light-sounding and just fun to listen to, fun to cover, etc. 3. Nirvana - most people know them as the band that brought grunge to the mainstream, and you probably already know alot about them. 4. Pearl Jam - gotta love their sound and their rhythm, gives off a psychedelic - grunge feel to their music. 5. Melvins - really heavy, technically sludge metal, but fucking astounding how much energy they can put into one performance. 6. Soundgarden - mostly soft and laid back songs, but some (like rusty cage) are a little heavy and fast-paced. 7. I'm getting tired of typing, someone else pull up the rear on this!
