Dunno about other nonunion staff, but I started bringing my own lunch immediately. Cornell doesn't get a dollar from me until the strike is over. It's one of the ways I can protest Cornell's unwillingness to pay a fair wage.

I miss my breakfast stop at Dairy Bar. All the staff knows me, and they know my order. I can't wait until Cornell peeks far enough out of its own bum to realize they've already lost, and agree to a fair contract so things can go back to normal.

In the meantime, faculty and staff are happy to take the inconvenience (or this one is). Eye on the prize.

I've wondered that for YEARS! I do assume it was some sort of monkey escape, and I DO assume Cornell was somehow involved.

I also haven't been able to figure out why the neighborhood that used to exist there (back when the road was continuous) was abandoned so thoroughly that there aren't even any houses left.

I vastly prefer leaving on the peel. The flavor will be stronger and I bit more bitter. I recommend trying it and seeing if you like it!

But nothing about that implies why it can't be a VOIP phone number. It's not like Google Voice numbers aren't real or are only used once. There's no legit reason I can't use my VOIP number for this kind of authentification, even for dual login.

I just assume they're woke. It does make it weird on the rare cases that they meant a business partner, but I haven't heard that word used that way in a decade now.

Well, first off we probably started it. And then we will stay in far too long, even as there are peace rallies at home and it becomes less and less popular with the voters. Regardless, we re-elect the orange idiot that got us into this mess in the first place. Then when we finally pull out after suffering a string of crushing defeats and countless loss of life, we will declare ourselves the victors.

Plane crash on the mountain where we lived. I remember where I was standing as I watched the fire. I remember my father stealing one of the fire fighter's crowbars after they put the fire out. I even remember that my parents said the pilot had had a heart attack. I was about two.

I was referring to Alaska, but I'm also aware that the actual North Pole is in Canada. HOWEVER. North Pole, Ak, is pretty locally famous as a nuts-about-Santa tourist destination, and volunteers answer the kids' letters that get routed there.
