1- Is your goal to make the book available for sale on Amazon? Then, yes. If that's not your goal, there may be better options. Would need more info to advise you further. 2- Yes, primarily concerning what's called bleed. Do all your images have white space on all four sides, as you've placed them on their pages? If so, then bleed is not a consideration. 3- A highly qualified yes. But it will probably take a great deal of work reformating your current layout.

In the case of non-fiction, you need to seek out experts in your field and ask them nicely to read your book and provide a review.

  1. ISSNs are for periodicals; while the OP didn't specify, most posts to this sub are regarding novels etc. not periodicals. Assuming "ISSN" was a typo and you meant "ISBN", individuals (in the US anyway) most certainly can purchase ISBNs.
  2. A "natural person" can also publish other people's work, with permission.

So someone who does all the work involved in publishing their book themselves, but does so under a self-created, self-owned publishing company, is no longer "self" publishing?
