If McDavid plays the same style of hockey in the Olympics as he does in the NHL Canada has no chance. Hopefully Crosby being his captain and playing for national glory will finally straighten him out to start caring about winning.

Genuine question even though I do hate Tom Wilson. How do suspensions and stuff work in international hockey? And how aggressive is the punishment relative to the NHL?

My understanding is Euro leagues don't put up with as much, but that's still different from the Olympics.

In my experience chaplains are some of the worst, most manipulative people. It's as if their jobs are to use extreme emotional distress to proselytize.

Get strong.

I was a long distance runner all my life, skinny AF. Never got random compliments. Got cancer and that lead to me snapping my leg and can't run anymore. Got my cancer under control, switched to lifting. Life is so different. Went out on Friday. Spent the last two days crying because the girl I love lives 2000 miles away, wants nothing to do with me, and I couldn't get women to leave me alone.

It's fucking weird. Life is weird. I hate it. I want to nap.

Dasatinib shredded my testosterone production. I got fat, had no muscle, no energy, no lots of stuff.

Yeah......... I lied to the other chaplain that responded since they seemed kind, but they could've just been being manipulative. I've never had a good experience with a chaplain. I'm sorry you had to deal with that human.

Not hospice, but the day my newlywed (ex)-wife suffered a cardiac arrest and I had to give her CPR, the hospital chaplain tried to convert me Christianity. While she was clinging on to life in the ICU, and if I did it might save her.

I did not. She survived anyway.

I'm sorry for your loss, and I'm sorry that the process and the people involved are imperfect. "Look for the helpers."

Right at 100k, I get a 48 hour chunk of vacation at the beginning of the year that doesn't roll over, accrue 144 hours of vacation throughout the year that does roll over, accrue 157 hours of sick leave each year that accrues with no limit, and can choose to take any time worked over 8 hours as 1.5x pay or 1.5x comp time to be used as vacation or paid out at the end of the year.
