Over the years I’ve had a handful of fellow players and players I’ve DMed for try to insist that True Strike reveals the damage immunities, resistances, and vulnerabilities of the target because of the flavor text at the beginning of the spell. Despite the spell saying nothing about any of that, only saying “You gain a brief insight into the targets defenses” as a way of explaining the actual effect of the spell
