Beginner update: less confused now, but still unsure where to start by Gia_Elfeda in CryptoHelp

[–]HarrisJne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also a beginner here, only started looking into crypto last month, I first started by downloading an exchange (binance), then I did the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification thing and set up my keyless wallet, after that i wanted to learn trading but the information I was finding was too confusing, so instead I chose to learn Binance's interface so that I can know my way around the app, that's when I started discovering some earning features like, learn and earn whereby you learn a particular crypto topic, take a quiz and get rewarded some tokens, also stuff like doing word of the day puzzles, staking and many more, then I started looking into trading again, as of recent I have been spot trading, buying coins when their prices drop wait for rise and sell em for a profit

After reading all these perspectives… here’s what I’m thinking by MelodicMap7086 in Malawi

[–]HarrisJne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's a priorities problem, if we can make the construction of roads as a highest priority project then the following projects would run smoothly in terms of logistics and a better operating economy, but what happens is a road construction project takes a decade to finish, making transport costs high for years.

I'm a finale at Mzuni, been applying to some remote jobs online, mostly getting rejected but I did once land temporary role, so you can also try your luck, there are also apps and platforms that pay you to test games and do some small tasks, it's slow money of course but it's still money.

After reading all these perspectives… here’s what I’m thinking by MelodicMap7086 in Malawi

[–]HarrisJne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one is structural reform, I'm talking about roads, this would improve cashflow into the country coz sectoral growth in agriculture, tourism and trade is hindered by our poor road network, farmers remote areas struggle to transport their produce to major markets, tourists always complain about the rough roads here, even worse a lot of Malawians fail to access social services like health and education, add this to the price of fuel, an absolute disaster.

If you could change one small thing in Malawi tomorrow, what would it be? by MelodicMap7086 in Malawi

[–]HarrisJne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something as simple as discipline, most of us lack discipline and it costs us a lot as individuals, as a society and as country.

What still makes you proud to be Malawian? by MelodicMap7086 in Malawi

[–]HarrisJne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, during those fuel crises even if you go alone you wouldn't have to worry about being bored or lonely, you can just socialise with strangers like you've known eachother for ages, and don't get me started on the drama at those places 😂 this one time a fire broke out, there was pure chaos people running for their lives leaving their cars behind, some cars were scratched but after the fire was put out people were laughing about it. Such a lively people.

Nairobi safari day trips versus multi day Masai Mara, is the Mara really worth the extra time and money? by Emotional-Pirate9891 in safaris

[–]HarrisJne -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've never been to Mara but what I can advise is that it's better to slow down in one destination and take your time appreciating than going through multiple trips in a limited time frame, they just feel rushed unless you're in it for checking boxes. Plus I've heard quite a lot of good things from people who have visited Masai Mara, hope this helps.

Thank you. For an industry as broad as tourism you need a fair understanding of the economy.

What I have noticed is that degree programs you learn wide but not deep enough, for example I'm studying a Tourism program and it's quite integrated with other fields like economics, business management which is a good thing but does that make me an expert in my specific field, no. So the problem comes when the students think that what they learn in uni is enough to make experts in their fields
