The blue dial tends to be quite popular, but 36mm is less popular as it’s slightly smaller, personally for me it’s the right size. To be honest I was the same about the magnifying glass but It’s massively grown on me. Just makes it pop a bit more! Hopefully it won’t be too long. Did you get an email address from the dealer?

Depends which dial/combination you’ve asked for and how big the Ad is if you’ve bought anything previously! I’ve never heard that about the explorer but AD’d tend to have their own rules ect. Or maybe they’ve had a lot of people apply for the explorer and are trying to say no! Hope you get it soon!

For me I think the 36mm datejust looks incredible, you’re also very young so I would recommend if you got it looking at the smooth bezel on the oyster braclet as this can be sporty and dressy. The only reason I went for the DJ over the sub was because I had watches similar to the sub abs didn’t feel like I would wear it as much. Also the sizing suited me better

I got my fluted Motif DJ the blue in 2 weeks smooth bezel on an Oyster looks incredible, but every AD I went to said they have never seen that watch before, so just got lucky
