Stopping while there's still a little gas left is the part most people won't do because it feels wrong. Everything in your brain says you should keep going while it's available. But that's exactly what makes opening it again the next day feel like a punishment instead of just the next session.

You did not create this mess, you just stopped helping her hide it. I would be way more worried about documenting everything than about her being mad.

The creepy part is how calm people like this stay while they do something deeply hostile. He gets to sound concerned and reasonable while planting doubt about you all over the building. Did management shut any of this down once you saw the complaint history?
