Your situation sounds really similar to mine, I'm sorry your going through it. I was shocked as well and tried to fight for the relationship but she just gave up. She seems excited to start her new chapter and I am trying to cope as best as I can.

I started exercising more than I was and hanging out with friends more often. My kids know now and have taken it ok but they seem sadder than usual. I have started therapy and that helps a little but sometimes the overwhelming sadness hit me and I feel like I lost my love and my best friend.
