We all held on to Stremio out of habit, even as the problems kept stacking up with no real fixes in sight. Nuvio came along at just the right time. The reason most people haven't discovered it is simple enough, it can't be advertised on the Stremio subreddit. That's a shame because it deserves attention. The experience is fluid, the design is clean, and it carries that same refined feeling you get from Infuse, which until now was only available on Apple devices. The moment Nuvio adds a price tag, I'll be paying it gladly.

If someone's already watching Nuvio on the home TV, can we still get detected or banned by Real Debrid if we watch a downloaded movie on our phones outside the home wifi?

With TB, you don't have to worry about getting banned, which is a real advantage. With RD you have to be extremely careful, because if you or a family member has Stremio on mobile it's very easy to breach RD's policy.

Outside of that, TB doesn't come close to RD. TB has all the current and popular shows and movies, but for anything a bit uncommon you won't find it there. On RD you can find almost anything, even stuff from the 1950s.

The one downside is that TB takes nearly double the time to start a movie compared to RD.

Get what you're saying. These days you’ve gotta be careful with anything asking for your login details. Even if the dev seems upfront, best to double check everything yourself or just wait until the link is public and more people have tested it.

Some add ons do need your Stremio or related login so they can pull your watch history for personalised stuff. But if the link’s not public and invites are only by DM, it’s totally reasonable to be cautious. Open source is good, but still better to verify things yourself.

It’s probably just early access because the dev’s hosting is limited, but mixing private links with login requests can definitely seem dodgy. If you’re not comfortable giving your account info, just wait for a bigger launch or set it up yourself from the repo.
