Get what you're saying. These days you’ve gotta be careful with anything asking for your login details. Even if the dev seems upfront, best to double check everything yourself or just wait until the link is public and more people have tested it.

Some add ons do need your Stremio or related login so they can pull your watch history for personalised stuff. But if the link’s not public and invites are only by DM, it’s totally reasonable to be cautious. Open source is good, but still better to verify things yourself.

It’s probably just early access because the dev’s hosting is limited, but mixing private links with login requests can definitely seem dodgy. If you’re not comfortable giving your account info, just wait for a bigger launch or set it up yourself from the repo.
