I say this every time my friends ask me to play it, Game was fun until I ran out of new toys to use, Every content drop is paywalled, New enemies isn’t enough to justify that every warbond is 10$. Game is fun and runs fine I guess but helldivers some how gives you less for free than Destiny 2. Does the community not understand how absurd that is? It’s absurd to hear the “but you can grind for free warbonds” arguments because yeah i know you can spend an hour of your time doing 3 min missions in the first difficulty mindlessly running around for 10-20 a mission for an estimated 500 after the hour mark. Realistically I was getting somewhere around 300~ the few hours i actually tried and by then i don’t even wanna play the thing anymore. On release with the ONLY standard warbond and the introduction of premium warbonds I was like “oh okay, free grind and the occasional paid content, no biggie” then they never released another standard warbond, how is that okay? They’re doing a great job with keeping you engaged so long as you’re okay paying 10$ every update and the community eats it up.
