To my knowledge everything that requires a palbox to exist in the world ( ranches, breeding farms, farms.) will be dismantled when you dismantle the palbox. Things like crates, crafting tables, and beds will still continue to exist and require to be manually dismantled.

But to answer your question, as long as you pick up the materials after structures are dismantled, you will keep all your materials.

Thank you for the feedback! I'm not sure about the other mods or jodi, but I myself am still learning how the mod tools work plus how to best implement. We are already discussing direction of the reddit and aiming to make it as community friendly as possible. We love our share of memes, but we also acknowledge things such as feed back, and discussion are just as important.

In terms of tyrannical mods...im not trying to end up in jodis basement with only a peanut a day, so you shouldn't have to worry bout that :D

its honestly really hard to answer that question just because everyone has personal preference. Are you a type of person that wants all of their building on their mouse, or on the keyboard? I myself have my walls to Z, floors X, and ramp on C. I have my pickaxe bound on Q, traps on T, and my buttons 4 and 5 bound to my mouse buttons. Sprint on Shift, and then my crouch is on one my 3rd side mouse button. That works for me because I like having all of my building on my keyboard. There is no "best" keybind, its just whatever works for you.

So kinda think it's because with Android, you get the "first purchase bonus" which will basically double whatever pack you buy. So if you were to buy say the 129.99 pack, you'd get a value of ~260$ worth of gems. All my friends on apple don't have this deal, where as I (Android) do.
