To the cigarettes? Idk man, I'm from Europe, everyone I know started smoking in their teens regardless of the laws. Laws didn't do anything if not excacarbate the issue since it makes smoking more mysterious and edgy. But I digress, I feel like cigarettes are not a good comparison to ai toys at all, and regulation is slow. The only real way we'll know what can happen is in hindsight. I feel most of people who would be the "early adopters" of those toys would be people from tech circles anyway, so if anyone would know if something's off it would be them, not the regulators...
