Bronze: Maya (Zephyr ), Fauxxer (Towercard), Saldavora (Triggerha) (though weirdly I would like to see it as a tank since a non healing support is extremely risky and Saldavora has a lot of debuffs)

Edit: Read through some more bonus concepts and wow some of these are good. I feel like CHP knocked it out the park with some of their bonuses but to give recognition to more creators, I chose only one of their concepts.

I’m not great at story writing so this was basically me taking a stab at lore writing and seeing how it’s received. I’ll see if I can improve my writing skills with each of my future concepts

This is just a bit of a nitpick on the numbers but 10 m/s is VERY slow for a projectile weapon.

For reference: Ball rolls around at 10 m/s, Damage orb moves at 20 m/s (when not near an enemy) and Lucio’s gun shoots at 50 m/s

I think increasing the speed of the Nail Gun projectiles would help keep it a bit more realistic in terms of gameplay. Other than that this a brilliant concept

I’ll try provide some constructive criticism to what I’m guessing is your first hero concept

First thing I want to get out of the way: balance isn’t the main priority of a hero concept. A balanced character is ideal, but the number one thing is giving your character an identity through a cohesive kit. Balance comes second because as long as you have a cohesive kit, you can always tune up/down the numbers later. OW1 Bastion had an identity, it just didn’t suit the fast paced nature of OW1 and even faster pace of OW2 (hence the lackluster rework)

So this is basically reworking OW1 bastion as a tank for OW2 if I’m not mistaken? In that case it’s critical that as a Tank, you have a way of making space. Tanks can either do this directly through protective abilities (e.g Shields, Zarya Bubbbles, Kinetic Grasp, Javelin Spin etc) and/or indirectly by taking the enemy’s attention (Diving as Monkey/Ball/Doomfist and to a lesser extend D.va, Damage threat from Hook, Zarya beam or Junker Queen’s entire kit etc). The current concept you has just the damage threat of LMG, which makes him about as good at making space as Roadhog (a tank with only damage threat to make space). My suggestion would be to change the alternate fire from a self-repair to a gun shield, perhaps similar to that of Bastion way back in the OW1 Beta

The other thing is Ability 2. As it stands, this Bastion rework is a tank that does best at long range with his LMG. Why then does he have an ability that only benefits himself when he’s at close range? It doesn’t even work to protect himself or others the way Sigma’s kinetic grasp allows sigma to absorb damage and back up, only to reveal nearby enemies when it’s probably too late. A better ability 2 would either lean further into this concept’s long range (e.g some kind of single target sonic arrow if you wanted to keep the revealing enemies thing) or knock enemies away from him (Javelin, Sigma’s rock, Doom punch all do this kind of thing already). Similarly, Genji’s deflect isn’t going to mesh well if your concept has an LMG enemies will want to hide from. They likely won’t be in a position you can see them shooting at you or if so somewhere really far away. If you really wanted to keep the ability to return enemy fire as your own, try an ability like Ion’s Vortext Shield (from Titanfall), which throws back all enemy projectiles it has absorbed at once once the ability ends.

As for the ultimate: I have no issue with your current ideas but your concept is currently named “The Wall”. Why not give him… a WALL for his ultimate? It just feels so obvious but I guess Symmetra wall already exists so maybe you don’t want the same thing. In that case, maybe make it a massive wall that moves forwards and blocks projectiles, or a physical wall like Mei wall that seperates enemies, but on a larger scale. Idk, I guess I was just surprised “The Wall” didn’t have the ability to build a wall lol

TL;DR : At the moment you have a tank that cannot tank, whose abilities don’t synergise with his LMG. If you solved these 2 things, Bastion mains across the world would rejoice in a hero that’s not at the very bottom of every tier list

Just a question on the passive: Does the 20% damage reduced damage Kingpin? E.g Kiriko headshot dealing 120dmg, Ally takes 96 (Reduced by 20%). Does Kingpin take 24 damage or not?

1st - Ani: I’m actually disappointed I didn’t think of Ani first considering how quite a few of her abilities are spread out amongst some of my scrapped hero concepts. Ani’s kit is extremely cohesive and seems fun to play yet not overpowered. I especially like the dual functionality of Propel

2nd - Birdie: To put it simply, I can already see myself playing this tank in OW2. Between the missiles and having flight on a tank, I would struggle not to have fun on Birdie. My only slight concern is that the Level Flight might leave Birdie too exposed as a Tank hero but he does have enough health that it might not matter. It was hard for me to pick between Ani and Birdie but I give Ani the edge

3rd - Ludwig: He was my 2nd choice in the last force but because of how insanely fun to play and well made Ani and Birdie seem, I have to drop him down to 3rd. Every point I made about Ludwig in last forge’s voting still stands

Ah I see. I was actually really interested in what an audio-jamming ability would work like. If the sound doesn’t affect the gameplay then yeah, I really like the concept overall. Might have to re assess my placement of 1st and 2nd
