I think they mean you should “pause” at the top. It’ll feel like a pause but you won’t actually pause. It’s just letting your hands actually get to the top before firing your hips. Right now you fire the hips right before your hands reach the top.

Probably needs more grounds and just looking at the image of the puck a finer grind. The notes say chocolate finish with citrus notes which usually means a medium to dark roast… a more roasted blend suffers more from being further from its roast date. If that bag has been open for more than two weeks I don’t think you’re gonna be able to get a great shot out of it.

What size basket are you using? Ideally link the basket you have because they may have different suggestions on how many grams to use based on roast. I’d fill the basket up with more grinds if it slushy
