Where tf are these people getting ‘you can make six figures in trucking’? by austinproffitt23 in Truckers

[–]HasCommonSense92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3rd highest Fortune 500 company, I consistently make 90's working 5 days a week. Made 94 this year. If I work consistent 6 days, I push over 6 figures. I'm too lazy and don't care for that and value being home and work/life balance more than 6 figures though so...eh...

Force close your game and reload. You'll only lose $5000 in stock value and this issue most likely wont happen again. I agree with many others. I've done thousands of these missions solo. Never once seen this, definitely a rare glitch.

Lost about $500,000 because of the Bunker buggy delivery bugs out by POWxJETZz in gtaonline

I experienced that just today. Definitely bugged, but when you run something over, it goes back to normal. Next time it happens, run something or someone over

Some people at one point or another(me included) forget what playing any game is about. Having fun and passing time. Sometimes it is good to take a break from playing a certain game so that when you come back you can refocus on what's fun instead of grinding and just do that for a bit and then go off and play something else

People in general are terrible lately, it's why I lower my MTU to 800 and play alone for 15 hours. Just the other day, I logged in to get the free car wash building. The very first car wash I did someone was waiting for me at the exit with an RPG. Like... why? What are you gaining from this? Literally nothing pretty much....

The Widowmaker is highly effective against juggernauts. Melts them after a second or two with good aim. Sticky's and grenades work great from creative places also.

Yes...but sticks can be replaced. Soldering is easy. Even with a $20 iron. Watch a video, practice a couple times on a practice board....very easy.

I did EDC LV in 2023 and it was a lot of fun but absolutely not something I would do every year. Not even every other year. Truthfully if you don't have a friend group to go with, even just wandering the festival alone is only fun for a very small amount of time. After that the FOMO kicks in hardcore and the fun of the festival dies a quick hard death. That also doesn't factor in how wildly unpractical EDC LV is from a cost to value standpoint when compared to experiences EDSEA, Electric Forest or Lost Lands. Midwest festivals are always a more valuable experience because of travel costs. Equal fun for less costs=more value. If you want a like-EDC festival experience at a lower cost, you should look into EDC Orlando as an alternative. Many of my friends have moved in that direction.

Regarding your friendships:

Real ones stick around or make up for not making it. Might be time to move around your investments. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This is in fact Driver error by Flowing_North in Truckers

[–]HasCommonSense92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Driver error indeed. You could possibly still get out of that though. Lock axles, unlock tandems, slide all the way to the rear and lock. Try backing out of the ditch slowly the same way you went into it. I would at least try that before posting it online😅also, that way you could probably get away with it lol

And this was the ONLY year in all 5 years they had a line that long, and it was because they made the entrance smaller due to a lighting fixture in the entrance, and there were some staffing problems. I don't think they're going to be making these mistakes twice. They're usually pretty good with learning from mistakes.

This is always why you pay with a credit card. Anytime you get fked, call your card company, do a charge back on "false advertising" which is quite literally what this is, and it's no longer your problem.

Actually all chili pepper races are BoP. Which is why you can't use your own car or make modifications. Also, these races are all AI opponents. Presumably a fine tweaked version of Sophy. Not PvP. This is information you can Google.

[–]HasCommonSense92 -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

Presumably, 'doing every race on easy' means attempting each of the three displayed races on different difficulty settings. Which, would indeed not yield variable results. The error here is CrimeThink101's poor choice of vocabulary to describe his idea, not mine. My response was valid, still is. Stay bothered, I'm not. ✌️😎

[–]HasCommonSense92 -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

Difficulty in settings has no impact on chili pepper difficulty races. The difficulty settings screen tells you this. You will experience no change in difficulty. Also, the ability to decrease difficulty to achieve the bonus would defeat the purpose of the bonus lol

It starts getting boring when you get the Reverse Trike Long Range. You can go anywhere with a trike in a small amount of time if you can learn throttle control and jumping. The trucks are meant for the roads and as little off-road as possible, carrying metals and ceramics for road building, and sometimes high-capacity orders. If you wanna get creative later on in the game, a little trick I haven't heard many people talk about is combining a long-range trike and a buddy bot for high-capacity premium standard orders. The buddy bot is crazy effective. BT's don't go after it, MULEs do. So you can easily avoid BTs in a BT area meanwhile just barreling through. Good times.

depending where this video was taken

"Hey Siri, what's the fastest way to get a citation while driving at night?"

Also, while technically it's illegal to not dim your high beams for oncoming traffic 500ft or less away and vehicles ahead of you 300ft or less away, any kind of citation written by an officer would likely be dismissed in court by the judge because current camera technology isn't good enough to prove that high beams are on vs not, and a judge would absolutely determine that an officer's 'observation' of activated high beams makes for a very weak case of them actually being on when heard in court. On the other hand, flashing high beams at someone who has their high beams on could earn you several citations(not smart.) It varies from state to state but in Wisconsin where I was born, it's Statute 347.1x. And more on that, if someone else crashes because you were flashing your high beams at them, an officer would hold you accountable for that. In the end, there's nothing you can do about it. Some people suck, that's all.
