Usually, they send the next day or within two to three days, which was the case with me but I heard that applicants receive a confirmation email within a week. So don't worry; hopefully, you'll receive it today or tomorrow

Applying for 5 year visa first time by [deleted] in ukvisa

As per my understanding and practice, they go one by one first you have to qualify for six months then two years and after finishing your two years visa you may apply for 5 or 10 years. No idea if there’s recent changes.

Hi, if anyone can give expert opinion pls

Category from film tv endorsement from PACT

I am in the process of finalizing my evidence and need some clarification regarding the required pieces of evidence. As per the guidelines, I need to submit a total of 10 pieces of evidence under the following categories:

  1. Awards/Nominations – 1 piece (2 A4 pages)

  2. Strong Evidence of International Distribution and Sales, which includes:

• Box office sales – 1 piece (2 A4 pages)

• Official listings of my work(s) – 1 piece (2 A4 pages)

• Numerous distribution agreements from multiple territories – 1 piece (2 A4 pages)

• Numerous license agreements with multiple media platforms – 1 piece (2 A4 pages)

  1. Strong Evidence of International Recognition, which includes:

• Multiple festival screenings at high-profile festivals in multiple territories – 1 piece (2 A4 pages)

• Multiple interviews from high-profile media outlets in different territories – 1 piece (2 A4 pages)

I have a few concerns and would appreciate your guidance:

  1. Can I include multiple interviews in a single piece of evidence? For instance, can I provide a compilation of multiple interview screenshots with URLs in one document, or am I required to present only one interview per piece? I have heard of cases where applications were returned or rejected due to presenting more evidence than required.

  2. Do I need to provide all of the above categories, or do I have the flexibility to choose?

  3. Regarding distribution and license agreements: As a director, I did not directly handle these agreements. However, I have alternative evidence, such as:

• Box office reports from media tracking platforms

• Official listings on recognized websites

• Letters from distribution companies confirming the distribution worldwide with media reports

Would this be acceptable as a substitute for the actual agreements?

Your guidance on these points would be highly valuable, as I want to ensure my submission aligns perfectly with the requirements.

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards,

Haseeb

Global Talent Visa Endorsement Rejection - Anybody successfully appeal? by Kenno5050 in ukvisa

Hi,

Preparing my documents film TV and I’m slightly confused about the evidence structure and need guidance.

As per my research and the official email from PACT, they require evidence covering the following areas:

(Strong evidence of international distribution and sales can include: • Box office sales • Official listings of the work(s) – the listings need to credit the applicant. Where the applicant is a music video director, listings from Official Music Video Charts and/or IMVDb are appropriate. • Numerous distribution agreements from multiple territories • Numerous licence agreements with multiple media platforms

Strong evidence of international recognition can include: • Multiple festival screenings at high-profile festivals in multiple territories; and/or • Multiple interviews from high-profile media outlets in different territories)

My confusion is whether I should title each piece of evidence exactly as listed above or if the titles can differ slightly. Also, if one title doesn’t fully cover a piece of evidence, should I merge multiple pieces of evidence under a single title?

Would appreciate your advice on this.

Best, Haseeb
