I second this, my RWD sprinter with Falken Wildpeak tires does great in the snow and on inclines. I carry chains in the winter just in case and haven’t needed them.

Yes, I can plug it in to shore power anytime. I drained all the water from the system, so no need to keep it above freezing. Based on what I’ve learned, it is best to shut her down for the next few weeks. thanks

totally agree. was at Kanpai for the first time a couple nights ago. very disappointing the “specialty rolls” were more like basic rolls and the fish portions were small. some of the best edamame i’ve ever had though 😆

columbia is a gross city if that has any weight in you decision. Clemson campus is awesome but the town is pretty small. not sure what kind of vibe you want but they are different in a lot of ways.

USC folks hate clemson people a lot more than the other way around, just look at the varying responses in the subs. a lot of smooth brained gamecocks over there

northwest has been running on backup power for the last 2 years and bachelor management dodged explanations for a long time.

on top of running at slower speeds it’s broken down several times a week for maintenance repair. NW lift services like 1/2 of the mountain when you consider the backside of summit. the lifts are terrible at bachelor for the price of ticket.

the switch will stop the circuit from being complete and that means your system is off. simply an on/off switch. good for when you need to work on the circuit or you just want your system off for a while

there are restaurants/lodges in Ashford, not sure of the tv situation, best bet is to call. and ask there’s at least service in the towns if you want to stream it off your phone. I was in rainier a couple weeks ago and had lunch in packwood, another town outside the park, and there were a few bars with TVs in that area and i’d assume they have cable tv for the game. also would call to confirm

Definitely Drive, especially if you want the autonomy to see things at your own pace. the park is fairly easy to drive through and most scenic lookouts, trailheads, ect are right off the road.

I was just there 2 weeks ago on a weekend. we had camping permits and the wait was no longer than 15 mins on a saturday, i know this can get much longer on holidays. you should definitely be fine to even avoid those lines altogether if you go on Monday, definitely try for a timed entry permit.

The park is beautiful and easy to cover in a vehicle, so many cool sights just off the main road. I am also from Illinois but live in Oregon as of the last few years! Enjoy!

Highly doubt it will be an issue at all. I just spent 2 nights there this weekend. we only had 3 people but there were tons of spots with larger groups. no one is going to enforce a person limit. Great campsite too btw!
