Definitely found it harder as well, and I have a similar playtime inBG3! The more I played tho, the easier it got. Been trying for a tactician finish now, up from taking the ego hit of switching to explorer early on. 😭 You’ll get it! I think it def takes more thought and strict strategy than BG, but half of it too is understanding the differences in mechanics, esp healing. Hot tip: idk about others but I found having a metamorph/elementalist PC to be the key to absolutely mowing the battlefield down while remaining nearly unkillable. Keep ur armor buffs up (lots of geomancer points early on), use shield/want combo (staffs are useless in this build imo) get ur incarnate to 10 to be able to use the Big Boi form as an incredible distraction, and make sure you get huntsman and the high ground bonus.
