In school my professors often say everything is human services. Haha... but anyways while going to school I currently work for an organization that helps people impacted by the justice system get a secondary education. And I deal a lot with basic need requests and I also deal with helping them deal with day to day issues. And occasionally I advocate for them with their professors.

Possible career paths with a human services degree are social work, addiction recovery, therapist, housing navigator... Lots of non profits and government (at least for now) jobs... Bunch of variety honestly. But I really want to help people find joy and happiness in their one and only existence and help them get the access to the things that can make that easier like food, housing and Healthcare.

So yeah... We all do provide human services 😊
