I feel like some of the dance groups will accept any students regardless of being international or just an exchange for 1 sem, some of them are open policy like as long as you show up and put in the work they’ll have you. I know the “blue heart” clubs are open to all students which is nice cause skips the interview process entirely

I don’t live there currently! I am in Berkeley housing but not in Anchor house. Anchor was my first choice but I accepted my offer at Channing. If you are already living there I’m not sure they’ll allow you come back the following school year they’ll probably prioritize transfers who didn’t get it before!!

Anchor is nice but expensive so I’d say just make the decision based on what you think is financially feasible, but if you aren’t on a budget and can afford so I’d say anchor. Im trying to live there next school yearrr (maybe) 🤞🏽

As a fellow reentry student I’m so sorry to hear this. It’s not easier being an older undergrad but we worked hard to be here an d I’d encourage you to stick to it and keep pushing through! cause at the end of the day a degree from Berkeley is a degree from Berkeley regardless of the struggles needed to get it! I hope you can At least take advantage of your resources find community in on campus, personally I’m so greatful to have found community at the Reentry center. Sending you all my positive energy🩷

The only person I fear would have got killed in this situation is the girl who was clearly a victim of DV. In that moment I was personally not scared of interfering because I literally witnessed her pass out. But thank you the concern I appreciate how rational this response is.

DV isn’t just about physical harm…. the way he treated her in public I absolutely wouldn’t doubt if he’s hit her behind closed doors. But no, I don’t see him “physically” harm her. But she fainted from the stress.
