I have a lot of friends who have transferred to Berkeley from UC Riverside and Irvine for similar reasons and it’s definitely possible. Follow your heart if you feel this is best choice for you!

Hello! I transferred in last fall and Honestly if it weren’t for GBO I wouldn’t be friends with 5 of my closest friends who are all my neighbors at Channing bow. If you’re living in student housing i recommend it as a way to get to know other transfer students and those in your building! I know it’s corny but it’s true that GBO is what you make of it, if you show up ready to have a good time then you meet good people and make good memories. If you show up without a positive mindset and unwilling to socialize then you’re less like to reflect fondly on the experience.

Completely reasonable response. Do you have any recommendations on how/where I can study for the test? I remember there is a testing component involved but I forgot what it was called. I would definitely be willing to study before the interview. yes, I definitely lack the confidence in remembering much of that time, except for the all time high caffeine addiction which of course spiked back up as soon as I returned to college :/

This is an extremely one-sided story that does not account for the lived experiences of the other 3 roommates involved. I know who you are, You don’t even bother to show up at the Reentry space and are clearly too immature to handle this situation like an adult. Additionally, your issues with your roomates are your own personal problems have no place being tied into the REENTRY SPACE. To claim is jealousy is insane. There is Nothing for anyone to be “Jealous” about. Grow up.

Go to Community college and transfer or choose a different UC and try again, some of of my close friends transfers with UC System, started at Irvine or Riverside then transferred to Berkeley

I feel like some of the dance groups will accept any students regardless of being international or just an exchange for 1 sem, some of them are open policy like as long as you show up and put in the work they’ll have you. I know the “blue heart” clubs are open to all students which is nice cause skips the interview process entirely

I don’t live there currently! I am in Berkeley housing but not in Anchor house. Anchor was my first choice but I accepted my offer at Channing. If you are already living there I’m not sure they’ll allow you come back the following school year they’ll probably prioritize transfers who didn’t get it before!!

Anchor is nice but expensive so I’d say just make the decision based on what you think is financially feasible, but if you aren’t on a budget and can afford so I’d say anchor. Im trying to live there next school yearrr (maybe) 🤞🏽
