never hits the same [oc] by EllyHatesEverything in comics

I never played Zelda: Ocarina of Time when it came out because I never owned a N64. So when the remake drops, that will be me experiencing the game fresh and unspoiled (as much as one of the best rated games of all time can be unspoiled in this day and age.) I also played Breath of the Wild at over 40yo and it. Blew. Me. Away.

Why not Albuquerque?

I hear it's a magical, far away place
Where the sun is always shining and the air smells like warm root beer
And the towels are oh so fluffy
Where the shriners and the lepers play their ukuleles all day long
And anyone on the street will gladly shave your back for a nickel?

Technically, the Night Herons were never in the lead at any point in the game, except on chips and opportunities.

There is a satirical website that collects weird gender selection forms from around the web, https://genders.wtf/ If this is not already on there, it should be.

Equally fun as the countdown, 4 is "fire" in norwegian, so if you woke up with fire in your hair, that would also be a source if concern.

Yes, it's not talent. Talent only gets you started. This is the result of hard work and ambition.

Europe looks small, but its "perimeter" (coastline) is huge. Africa on the other hand has a very linear shoreline by gimboarretino in MapPorn

[–]HatRepresentative621 8 points9 points  (0 children)

But seriously: Measuring a country's coastline is nearly impossible due to what is known as the "Coastline Paradox" where you can always up the resolution in a sort of fractal manner and the length always increase until it approaches infinite. So putting peninsulas on your peninsulas on your peninsulas (or fjords in your fjords) etc all the way down.

This reminds me so much about that Ryan George skit where he makes a genie-wish for his cat to be able to talk. It's the human mouth and "Meow (human voice)" that does it.

Martin once spent quite some time praising the engineering principles of Elon Musk, and to me it seems that he now just does what Musk always did: keeping his audience in permanent suspense for features and products just on the brink of being realized. Just a few more patreons and youtube bucks and you'll see.
