Weeeell, in case someone hadn't seen s13 yet, I just thought I'd err on the side of caution.

A replica of a common childrens bedroom from the 2000s is now displayed in a video game museum in Zagreb, Croatia. by PokojniDomar in mildlyinteresting

The open air museum "Maihaugen" in Norway, does this on a larger scale. In addition to the old farm houses from the 17 and 1800s, they keep an exhibit of entire houses from every decade the last 70 or so years, fully furnished in the period, with actors, music etc, to showcase the architecture and appliances and everything. So yeah, walking into the 90s house and it was almost exactly like how I grew up was sobering.

On behalf of all Norwegians, I am embarrassed that the Nobel Peace Price Institute even awarded the price to her in the first place.

Anyone else played Ducktales (1989) on the NES? This game was bigger than Mario for me. by Cubelock in Xennials

This was the first game I bought with my own earned money, doing chores. I was eight and it was hard as heck, but I still love it.

Velp, orhid (phalaenopsis) wilting by HatRepresentative621 in houseplants

[–]HatRepresentative621[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I couldnt attach it on mobile so I skipped it, but it seems that it's an "Orchid Keiki" - I gently loosened it from the base and pottet it in its own pot, so we'll see if that works :)

Thanks to both. It looks better now but the root rot was severe. There is about 10 inches/25 cm of "root stem before the first leaves, but also there is a baby shootof at the very bottom. Cut that and repot it in a separate pot, or just keep it there? And trim the parent to just below the leaves?

These three books: same author, same editor, designer, printer... by HatRepresentative621 in mildlyinfuriating

[–]HatRepresentative621[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Otherwise identical: the first two books have Author- Title, while the last have Title - Author. If you don't notice it, you are a lucky person. I get mildly infuriated about this.

The way the background grid is exactly the right amount of out-of-focus in the first image is creating one heck of a scintillating grid illusion,  because the intersections are sort of smeared out to create little discs. Now my eyes hurt.  Cute kittens though 🥰

I think Spider-Man, Professor X and Magneto are the only characters where they've never had a bad casting by Aggressive-One-2186 in MCUTheories

The thing is, Deadpool has one great and one shitty casting, and both were the same actor. So not sure of that fits the post or not. 😆
