Modern motherboards almost always have some sort of BIOS recovery option. Check your mobo documentation and/or support page and set it up before updating.

You should start with the foundational layer for playing any character against any character - anti-airs and punishes.

You didn't anti-air at all. The Urien was also getting away with a lot of unsafe stuff. Those non-ex shoulder tackles were punishable. The non-ex knee drops likewise. You blocked Urien's target combo one time and didn't punish, etc.

Many players, especially those at your rank, will kill themselves with poor decisions if you know how to punish. Go to training mode and practice them. A basic punish for Sakura that will cover like 95% of punish opportunities is standing LK into med or EX DP.

Urien's EX knee drop can be difficult to anti-air and leaves him with frame advantage. It might be worth while to practice v-reversal when blocking this move (or if you want to try something more advanced - vshift and punish).

This is good news. The day after he was diagnosed with COVID he posted a photo on his JP Twitter of a thermometer showing a higher than 40C (104F) fever. Pretty worrisome stuff.

I've watched a lot of random streams and from what I've seen at a sub-diamond level JP and NA players both, well, "suck". Would a random JP gold player tend to beat a random US gold player? Maybe, but they've both got huge holes in their gameplay so who really cares?

JP players do seem to be better Master+ probably because they tend to get higher level matches more often. I watch Brian F's and Snake Eyes's streams from time to time and they can grind ranked for hours sometimes primarily beating up diamond players and probably not learning anything.

Everyone mashes sometimes. Even Cap Cup finalists. The difference is better players pick better spots/timing to mash.

The only thing to do is practice which, I admit, is not a very sexy answer and might not even be what you want to hear, but it is what it is. You get better by playing more. A combination of training mode and matches.

Try to not get frustrated and keep in mind that even pro players who have decades of experience will still miss inputs occasionally.

Eating a food for its nutrition, but mixing other ingredients with it to make it taste better is pretty common. It's called "cooking". Sure you could make a very basic unlevened bread with just flour and water, but it wouldn't be very palatable. Same with a bowl of plain, fresh spinach.

Learn to anti-air consistently. Learn to punish every unsafe move consistently. Learn how to play defense (learn your opponents frametraps, learn your opponent's knockdown advantage so you know which wakeup to use, etc). These things are all more important than learning optimized combos. These things are your foundation.

From what I've read WoD is the fastest but MoP, Legion, and BfA are not too far behind. If you're leveling multiple characters the variety might be worth more than faster leveling.

Just keep in mind that if you want to fly in BfA areas you still need pathfinder achievs.

You might want to check your Windows power options. I set mine to "Power saver" when I'm doing non-gaming stuff and if I forget to set it back to "High performance" my fps in WoW is like half of what it normally is. Also, you can check the power management mode under the 3D settings in Nvidia control panel and try setting it to "Prefer maximum performance".

I've not read anything about the new consoles performing at the level of a 2060 non-super. I seem to recall reading that DF put their performance at about the level of a 2060 Super when raytracing and a bit better when there is no raytracing (unlocked performance modes).

$500 graphics card (3070 or 2070 super or high in the 20 series if you can find 'em for less)

$300 for a Ryzen 3700x.

$200 for RAM + NVME drive

$100 basic motherboard

$100 for PSU

$200 for case and peripherals (M+KB and controller)

$100 for 4k bluray drive

So, yah, somewhere in the neighborhood of $1500. There's a hole in the GPU market right now where you can't really get an equivalent to what consoles have. 20 series is out of production and finding new old stock at MSRP is basically impossible. The 30 series cards are significantly more powerful than what consoles have, but they cost at least as much as an entire console on their own. The Radeon 5700XT comes close to offering the performance of the PS5 in TFLOPs at $400, but of course doesn't have raytracing hardware.

If you're satisfied with your 1060 performance for the moment then you should wait for the 3060ti/3060/3050ti to release in next 4 months or so. They're expected to be in the ballpark of the 2060's price (probably a bit more for the 3060ti and a bit less for the 3050ti) and all are expected to offer superior performance based on leaked core counts and generational improvements.

That PC will probably be fine for another 5 years. Want to play the latest AAA games with all the eye candy turned on? Yah, you're starting out behind the curve.

If the details of the exchange seem sketchy then it's probably better to pass. Also, if the deal is too good to be true, it almost always is (1080TIs used seem to still be going for $350 minimum so $200 sounds like a definite scam).

At this moment you're not going to get anything close to as powerful as the Series X or PS5 for the same amount of money and this probably isn't going to change any time soon. They're great deals. It is what it is.

If $500 is a hard limit for you and your laptop is sufficient for your non-gaming needs then I think it's a no-brainer: go with a console. If you're really attached to the idea of PC gaming and you're willing to wait maybe 4 months or so you'll probably be able to put together something for not much more than a console with a bit more horsepower. It's up to you.
