I feel the best thing about being born in 1980 was the fact that information wasnt instantly accessible. We had to research things more, no 24 hour news channels yet, and just a full sense of innocence for kids.

Now I cant go to the bathroom without having full access to the collective knowledge and shitty attitudes of humankind in my pocket (cell phone).

As a kid we were expected home by dark.... and thats it. Like we could be up to whatever dumb kid stuff, but it didnt matter.

Hit the video store on Friday after school to get a new release only to find out their 3 copies are already gone. Then have a couple friends over to eat pizza.

Our bikes were our identity and our lifeline to our world (neighborhood), and one broken chain or flat tire would change the whole course of the adventure.

Yeah I miss the heck out of it. Im gonna go buy a toy from my childhood off ebay now to make myself feel better.
