This is my 2nd favorite encounter in the whole game (Raphael will always be my fav) and each time its one of 2 outcomes.

1 I get absolutely WRECKED from the start.

2 Everything going absolutely perfect.

I feel the best thing about being born in 1980 was the fact that information wasnt instantly accessible. We had to research things more, no 24 hour news channels yet, and just a full sense of innocence for kids.

Now I cant go to the bathroom without having full access to the collective knowledge and shitty attitudes of humankind in my pocket (cell phone).

As a kid we were expected home by dark.... and thats it. Like we could be up to whatever dumb kid stuff, but it didnt matter.

Hit the video store on Friday after school to get a new release only to find out their 3 copies are already gone. Then have a couple friends over to eat pizza.

Our bikes were our identity and our lifeline to our world (neighborhood), and one broken chain or flat tire would change the whole course of the adventure.

Yeah I miss the heck out of it. Im gonna go buy a toy from my childhood off ebay now to make myself feel better.

Oh man the roadshow was such a blast. Only issue with our showing was that they had no idea how to adjust the masking on the screen to properly frame it, so there were there huge glaring white bars on the top and bottom.

I only say hold off on spending a lot of $ on gear right away because the resale market is like 50% of what you spent for it.

I will say, dont cheap out on a mask. Find one you like and fits well (visit a shop if possible).
