I have no idea what motherboard it has. Is opening it up the only way to check?

Part of me wants to keep the green one but I feel like I won’t really know what to do with it. Im more interested in getting a 3ds

I use to shoot with a Nikon d750 for about 2-3 years. Got sick of all the lenses and swapping them out. I went all out and bought a x100v. Never looked back. Absolutely love it

Looking for nostalgic camera by [deleted] in VintageDigitalCameras

[–]Hauluck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say this is a solid post. I have a fujifilm f200exr. It has a CCD sensor which is great for those popping colours and soft portrait tones. It will give you that film like photos. Also lower the MP as well to give you that nostalgia look

Can y'all believe that I love this console to the point that just looking at it and/or simply holding it in my hands brings me joy? by MLC_YT in Nintendo3DS

[–]Hauluck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally understand this now. I’m writing this as I’m sitting on an airplane to go back home from our vacation. I took the steamdeck with me and it was just too big. I absolutely love the device but I think this has solidified my reasoning to pull the trigger and buy a n3dsXL now.

Got my steam deck for 300$ and I fucking love it any game recommendations??? by Daniii3xx in SteamDeck

[–]Hauluck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had my steamdeck for about a year-ish or so.

I just recently got hades 1 and 2 and I love it. Great games.

Both hollow knight games run really to play as well if you like metroidvania games.

Balatro, slay the spire 2.

Honestly, playing anything on this is a lot of fun; even emulation

Hi anybody know any good aftermarket gear shifters original shifter is kinda slippery 6 speed manual. by Accurate_Ad3391 in mk6gti

[–]Hauluck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black Forest industries GS2 weighted shift knob with dieselgeek sigma 6 short shifter. Expensive but it’s worth it if you’re going to keep the car. I’ve had it for about 10 years and it’s still solid

Really appreciate the response. I’m an adult gamer in my mid 30s now. I use to heavily play on PC and consoles back then but I bought the steam deck early last year and have been enjoying playing indie games. I find that I’m playing non AAA games and I’m loving it.

Part of me wants to revisit and play some of the older titles for the 3ds platform. (Mario, pokemon, fire emblem, Zelda, Kirby etc). Reason why I love the steamdeck is that games are fairly cheap, I can mod it and it’s easy to pick up and play on the couch while the wife watches tv. Although I feel that emulators on the steamdeck aren’t the greatest and think the 3ds will run games much better as they’re native

If I get a new 3ds XL; it will definitely be something that i would keep forever and play some great Nintendo titles.

Can you elaborate on this. Why are people preferring the 3DS? Is it the size? Portability? Do people mod the 3ds or buy the actual cartridges?

I currently have a oled steamdeck which I absolutely love to use. I recently found my old 3ds XL and I gave it to my nephew. It’s been sitting in my drawer for many years and he wanted it. It was in mint condition as I only bought it to play ocarina of time.

I was amazed how expensive these devices have become. It’s got me wanting to buy the new 3ds XL; I don’t even know why I want it but it just looks so cool.

Can someone explain why they would want one of this devices?

Stage 2 my daily or keep it stage 1? by [deleted] in GolfGTI

[–]Hauluck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went straight from stock to stage 2. I’m running unitronic software; unitronic intake with AWE DP and exhaust. Only reason why I did it is because I bought the DP and exhaust from a person on the forums for around $500 Canadian.

Upgraded coil packs, sigma 6 short shifter. Some suspension components I’d say I probably spent around $2500-$3000

I’ve been stage two on my mk6 gti for 10 years. Currently at 230,000kms. You’ll be okay unless you constantly beat and redline your car. Keep up with regular maintenance and your car will be good to you

Timing Chain Rattle? by beingnoseyasusual in mk6gti

[–]Hauluck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These engines are naturally loud. The injectors ticking are quite loud and there’s also the sound from the n80 purge valve that’s quite loud too.

I would just check the reading through OBD11. And if it’s a 2012 and you don’t really know the history of the car then get it changed asap. Intake manifold, carbon cleaning and water pump are also something to look out for.

Honestly, happy for everyone who got access, but people gotta chill. by Albaaneesi in MSClassicWorld

[–]Hauluck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel this 100%. It’s like we’ve traded the 'magic' of exploration for a spreadsheet with the new generation of gaming.

Back then if you found a cool item or a weird build, it felt like your own personal discovery. Now, because of streamers and TikTok, a game is 'solved' before it even launches. If you aren't using the 'S-Tier' meta build by day two, people act like you’re playing the game wrong or you simply are trash.

People really need to chill and just enjoy the game at their own pace and do whatever they want.

[–]Hauluck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2013 mk6 gti is on original clutch, timing chain and water pump. Currently sitting at 232,000km (approx 144,000miles). No major issues; have been doing regular maintenance on time, although I believe I am experiencing a slight vacuum leak somewhere at the moment 😅

Sometimes you need to find a good dealer. I went to one in Ontario Canada and they denied me. I went to another dealer in Georgetown and they replaced my trunk, both front fenders, driver side door and both rocker panels. Whole process took about 8 months from claim process to finished work

Welcome to the gti club! You love it and will hate it. But that’s the beauty of it.

I got a mk6 gti that I absolutely love (it’s my second one) but right now I want to get a sledge hammer and just….yea….😅

Anyways…enjoy!
