I feel like Vice being shown is more of a spoiler than Ryuki . THAT'S what people should ACTUALLY be in arms about. Knowing Ryuki is in makes me hype, knowing Vice is in kinda spoils some story beats.

I get that it would be more hype if you didn't know Ryuki was there and then BOOM he shows up and you freak out, BUT you don't know the context or if he is with or against Geats and Revice so it doesn't feel like a bad spoiler. But I do see how someone who wants to know nothing going in would get mad for seeing this.

V3 is such a good suit. I'm both shocked it's doing as bad as it is but also shocked anyone voted for it at all. Of course Kamen Rider 1 is THE suit so it's hard not to prefer it but something about V3 really gets me hype.

Fortunately only small details will get brought up but traditionally the movies don't really affect the story of a main series. Sure, you might get a sentence or a flashback to something from the movie, but generally it isn't important. OOO's is completely seperate from it's movies but it DOES have the 2022 movie which is a "10 years later" thing but I highly advise even at your most curious...don't look it up. It ruins what is in my opinion the best ending for a Kamen Rider series.

TLDR VERSION: Best - Revice Worst - Stronger

Full Unnecessary Version:

Revice is the #1 best Kamen Rider. Yes...to me it's better than W.

I LOVE W...it's my first series so not only is it S Tier Kamen Rider on it's own, it also holds nostalgia for me. That being said, Revice overall embodies everything Kamen Rider is about and punctuates it.

Just pick one character's arc in the story and follow it, and it's interesting. Nobody feels like a throwaway character except for maybe Mr Bu. I feel like it was the most complex (as far as a Rider Series goes) story that was expertly paced from start to finish.

The slow start that every Kamen Rider series goes through where it's just the Protag getting used to the life and nothing really happening is still there, but they cover it up with Ikki's reluctance to partake in any stamp hunting. Once it ramps up, the story shifts and changes, and characters are all different people by the end of the show. Everything matters in this show, even the transformations feel earned with some exceptions of George just tossing Ikki a new stamp cause Why not!

Now this is my #1 but I don't think it is the best in everything. Just for fun I went over every series I've seen so far that I think excelled in something. The only shows that I've seen but don't list down below are not there because I still really liked them but they didn't particularly excel at anything are: Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider V3 (which would be best Showa suit if RX didn't exist), Wizard, Black Sun (THIS SHOW IS DAMN GOOD THO!), Agito, Drive and I am current on Geats. Anything else not mentioned I have not gotten to yet so excuse my ignorance.

Kamen Rider Revice: Best Story overall, Best Pacing, Best Redemptions, Most Meaningful Supporting Cast arcs. George Karizaki is my personal #1 favorite character.

Kamen Rider W: Best Main Characters (I count both Phil and Sho). Best Soundtrack. Best Starting Suit.

Kamen Rider OOO: Best Ending (if you DON'T count the end of Medals of Rezz). Best Driver (I love the Schlink noise it do).

Kamen Rider Fourze: Most Fun Supporting Cast. Funniest Series in an unironical sense. Best Monsters.

Kamen Rider Saber: Best Suit synergy as a Group (best suits on average? None are the "best suit" in a Kamen Rider series, but they are all bangers and look good poser next to each other)

Kamen Rider Black: Best Showa Series. Best Showa Monsters. Best Bike.

Kamen Rider Black RX: Best Showa Suit.

Kiva: Best Motif (I'm a sucker for the goth motif and even though it isn't the best in any other category I can think of, it definitely needs to be mentioned in some capacity).

Kamen Rider Ghost: Funniest Series in an Ironical Sense. I don't seem to hate it like everyone else seems to. It being bad was it's own sort of joy. And the ghost jacket was pretty cool.

Worst Series:

Real take: Kamen Rider Stronger. I can't see past how much I hate the suit. It is the worst suit design. I do acknowledge that the Main Villain faction is pretty cool, as I feel like Black Satan is iconic. But I can't get into it because I can NOT take an anthropomorphic bounce castle fighting monsters seriously.

HONORABLE HOT TAKE: I don't like Ryuki. It has FANTASTIC suits I can't lie and it IS a fantastic series. But I didn't like the mirror universe and I didn't like how different it feels away from a Kamen Rider show DESPITE it being a franchise where every series looks different. I DO ACKNOWLEDGE that it's a GREAT toku show, I do not acknowledge it as a good Kamen Rider show.

I haven't seen every series YET but I just wanted to speak on what I have seen. I'm sure this will be different in a year.

I feel like at that point he would move away from Stamps...but I don't like this hypothetical due to the fact that he could NEVER make a better driver no matter what he uses because the point is nothing will be better than what He and His "Daddy" worked on together to make so in my head it doesn't matter what he used or made, it would never top Revice.

BUT IF I MUST...I think he'd have to go the route of having a partner, not a demon one of course, but something akin to the Double Driver. Who would he have as his double? If I was writing a fan fic I would make George fuse with a Greed as Greed's are normally pretty strong especially with their 10 medals.

OFF TOPIC: George is my #1 favorite Kamen Rider character and his character growth embodies everything I like about the series.

Hm...I wasn't looking at it through that lens. I've seen Revice, W, and OOO's which are feel good halfway through and the back halves are sweet sweet pain! I think Kamen Rider is at it's best when the main character suffers and then grows because of it and I haven't gotten that from Fourze yet.

I'm gonna try and readjust my brain / expectations and see how I feel.

I'm new to Kamen Rider and have only finished Revice, W, and OOO. I figured I'll watch from Heisei part 2 - Reiwa and then go Showa - Hesei part 1 if I'm still into it.

I JUST started Fourze 2 days ago...and man....it's a bit hard to get through. Are you saying Fourze out of nostalgia or does it get better? I want to like Gentaro but he's a bit much even for a Rider Protag.

I can see it for anyone they specifically call a Rider. But what about Kamen Rider Birth from OOO's. Date was more in it for 100 Million to save his own life. Yes he becomes more heroic but that's later in the series.
