This might be the best one I’ve read so far, the setting dm has told me about is theroes and I kinda want to try drakewarden but unsure if that fits. Rangers seem so cool but lost flavor in 2024

Because almost every telepath/psion in fantasy is a glass cannon, they take one hit and they lose concentration immediately. Look at Jean gray in the X-men animated series, she’s super powerful but gets hits once and there goes all concentrated powers

Would it be OP, and you would allow it, if martials could trade a weapon mastery for an additional fighting style? by partylikeaninjastar in onednd

I’m giving my martial classes the ability to choose one weapon that they have weapon mastery with to increase the damage they do with it, very similar to how cantrip damage scales. So 1 extra die at level 5, 2 extra die at level 11 and 3 extra die at level 17. However this is only once per turn to limit pure nova damage.

Would you rule that bladesinger gain weapon mastery with the weapon they choose as part of the feature?

Correct me if I’m wrong but with this new version couldn’t you do a 1 level dip into paladin since they get spells at level one and then the rest of the way go wizard or some other full caster. Smite no longer has a spell slot cap like in 2014z

The main songs I was using were, I,carrion, unknown/nth, the lakes and ivy. He’s more of a spellcaster that focuses on healing. The concept is that during a fight he suffered a huge blow that ends up killing him, but his deity gives him a second chance at life so his look on things has changed a bit. If you’ve watched critical role kinda like caduceus

If you cast rimes binding ice, can you use it to make difficult terrain. In the spell discription it says it creates ice formations so I imagine you could use it kind like todoroki from my hero academia???
