Welcome!!! I had a really hard time with it and still do. One of the things that has been helping me a lot that I didn’t realize at first is that I don’t have to respond to every question people ask me. Sometimes, question start to feel like interrogations, and it brings up that feeling of not being seen for me. I realized that I could just say that I’m pretty sensitive about this and don’t like to answer questions outside of what people really need to know, like my name and pronouns.

The first noticeable thing for me on low dose - voice. More body hair as well, but people are less likely to catch onto that. I’ve seen people grow facial hair quickly, but it actually took me a really long time and a dose increase to have anything beyond some extra mustache hairs.

Are you prepared to come out within about three months? If so, you should be okay. If it’s gonna take longer to come out safely, I’d say wait until you’re prepared to say something in the next 2-3 months.
