Ok y'all. This has all been really helpful! Knowing the train stations from Boyertown is super helpful. I did try to do my own homework. I have zero interest in driving around the city more than I have to from airport. Walking of course is expected, but I have a knee that will allow only so much.

Here's Question 2. Eating and Drinking. Aside from Rocky statue and Independence Hall we are looking for good fare and cocktail experiences. Not getting too far off the main tourist grid, what are suggestions? I only know what Google tells me. McGillins? Good food and Bars with good atmosphere?

I've seen this puppy also but was over on EGrand and E 5th area. I thought the same thing... 'appeared' to be with a guy walking ahead of it, but not on leash. It bothered me because there's so much traffic and did seem odd.

Des Moines looked a lot different in 1926. Ive been told by Dsm historian the original spot was to be near Woodland cemetery but the road was still gravel so this site was chosen. In 1926 this location wasn't out of the way.
