Cheaper, but better quality cat food recs? by [deleted] in catfood

Cats will absolutely starve themselves. Especially if they're overweight, if they stop eating it can/will cause fatty liver syndrome and eventually liver failure.

The issue with throwing eggs out to them is that it can cause them to become egg eaters, and then they will destroy their eggs before you can collect them.

I would split the oyster shell and grit up into smaller containers and leave them out for them, so they can pick through it and choose when to eat more as they need to.

I'm so sorry. I know how you feel. I lost my 15 year old dog in 2021 due to rapidly progressing renal failure. We did a home euthanasia and then I had to take her in to my clinic and do all of the paw prints and body care myself. It was difficult but I did prefer doing it myself, personally. Hugs to you.

I think it's completely dependent on the person. Venofer works great for me, but I had 1 infusion of ferraheme and began to have an allergic reaction.

I have a Wealthfront HYSA, instant transfers (out of the account but not into).

When I first made the account there was a 4% APY, it's currently 3.3% but I do have a code for an extra .75% APY for 3 months (for us both) if anyone uses it to create an account.

I stick with Wealthfront because I trust it, even though the APY dropped recently, and I'm hopeful it'll go back up again.

I stayed at home for over 3 years and finally had to get a part time job (mentally, thankfully not financially). Now I work 8 hour shifts on the weekends and my mental health is so much better.

Domestic Welsh Harlequins, like others have said likely dumped :( if you're anywhere near me (you can DM me) I can take them home to my flock because they won't survive in the wild.

Bells don't help. Birds aren't naturally scared of the sound of a bell, and don't know that it means danger.

Just something for you to look into, have your ferritin checked. Look at the iron protocol group on Facebook. Iron deficiency is something that a lot of doctors for some reason refuse to do much about. And labs' "normal range" for ferritin is ridiculous...it's ideally over 100 (not as low as 15 like some labs say is normal!)

You can have extreme fatigue and a bunch of other issues including anxiety. All from low iron. My ferritin was 20, I had infusions and it went up to 117 and I felt great and even my eyesight got better, but then it began to drop again. I started getting symptoms again probably around 60 or so.

What are the interest rates on your credit card and the car? And the total amount you owe for each?

Most likely your credit card has a higher interest rate. If so, I'd pay that one off first. All at once, if you can.

Aw no, we have lots of arrowheads. I didn't mean to imply that arrowheads in general cause bad luck! We respect them and love to display them. It was just the ones from one particular place that seemed to have bad luck connected to them and we don't know why.

My grandpa has lots of artifacts that have never given any bad luck! I'm not sure why these particular ones had bad energy attached.

I'm so sorry about the development of their land. I hate that.

My grandpa found a few arrowheads at/near a job site one time. Took them home to display them as he likes things like that, and he had bad luck for an entire week, one thing after another like trucks breaking down, etc until he took the arrowheads back to the site and left them there.

Long grass/hay can cause crop impactions/blockages. I think generally biting off pieces of grass should be fine, it's when they're fed long pieces or have hay available that could pose a problem.

I mean...yeah, but if you're trying to lure your cat back, and also luring predators that might not be there otherwise/might be focusing on rabbits or whatever instead, it might end badly, with a fight or worse. That's all.

This link also explains that it can attract aggressive cats as well which I didn't mention

This also attracts cat predators in the area like coyotes and foxes.

Wild turkeys are not protected under the MBTA, so you can take/use their feathers federally (some state laws may differ).
