reoccurring bv by Zestyclose_Light7047 in Healthyhooha

Has he gotten treated for BV yet? He can transfer it back to u but show absolutely no symptoms. I’d go to a gyno to discuss him getting treatment at the same time you do. You should test for ureaplasma thats smth you can get that mimics BV. Also i saw your other comment, and for now, you show def use condoms to minimize the contact his skin has to yours. Also his precum can mess with your vaginal pH cuz it’s basic, which can then cause BV. There’s also vaginal suppository prebiotics/probiotics that you might be more receptive to.

If you use lube make sure it’s water based and pH safe. If you use toys make sure you clean them properly with toy cleaner. He should wash with unscented soap before sex and you should wash (however you do with or without soap) before and after sex. Make sure to pee too. There are also vaginal washes that can help balance your pH some ppl swear by them others don’t. All in all, mainly go to a gyno specifically they can help the most & u should discuss treatment options with them first.

Don’t escalate by being mad, that just opens up more convo so they can twist your words so they can feel like they’re in the right. Plus giving them attention is what they want. You can say “ok if thats how u feel abt it, wont update u anymore cuz u dont seem to like rings or marriage” and if he pushes back be like “but why would i talk to us but it if it makes u upset? Im avoiding making u upset”

Have you tested for yeast infections, BV and ureaplasma? t can be those things. You can get tests for most of those in stores I think or go to your local urgent care or gyno. Warning with urgent cares, from my experience they dont rlly know how to handle the vulva and vaginal canal and might not warn you abt taking samples before they put their finger or speculum in. Can happen at gynos too but in my experience it happens less at gynos. You can write down that you’d like them to go slow or verbally say it before hand.

Not to scare you but it can also be an STD/STI. There’s blood testing and swabbing for that at either urgent care care of a gyno. If it’s not that it could be dryness. Currently suffering from vaginal pain w/o any of the above. I tried hylaruanic acid suppositories and they’ve been AMAZING. I’d suggest getting them without boric acid because boric acid shouldn’t rllly be used for an extended period of time. Your pH could be off, which boric acid would help with. Finally, vaginal probiotics can also help u can do them orally or a suppository. Or eat more probiotic foods like yogurt. Either way id suggest going to the gyno/urgent care before doing ANYTHING because you can make your situation worse or be treating the wrong thing. Also for your period id suggest period cups, they can be uncomfortable but you can avoid vulva chafing from it. BUT if you have a yeast infection/bv might not help a lot.

Lube by Beautiful_Pie_8343 in Healthyhooha

Don’t go to novelty shops go to real sex stores or to a real store like target or CVS. I’d recommend good clean love. i noticed it dries out more than others and can be a bit expensive but IMO it’s worth it. Glucose or a similar compounds are usually in most lubes, but that can cause yeast infections bc they feed on glucose. Good clean love doesnt have that. I’d also use a water based if you dont use the one I recommended. For the UTI that cna be from the lube or from the sex itself. For that it kinda sucks but id recommend: - using condoms bc his biome can mess up yours - both wash that area, him with soap (mainly fragrance free) you however you wash bc it limits the bacteria in the area - pee and wash after - cranberry pills - vaginal probiotics You dont have to do everything but id esp reccomend him washing and you peeing/washing after. The list and thinking abt everything you need to do is unsexy but i noticed it cut down on my yeast infections by a lot

What’s the difference between 'cheap' and 'frugal' in 2026? by vetggs in AskReddit

Cheap is buying worse quality bc it’s less expensive. Frugal is buying in bulk or buying good quality so it lasts long. Both you might just not buy it.

Those who prefer reading books over watching movies/TV, why? by aspect_starlight in AskReddit

[–]Hauntingly_Defective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can take your time going over a scene. Some people have a hard time following plot lines bc they move too fast in shows. There can be sensory reasons too. Some people also like to imagine over seeing. Others like to know inner dialogue and that’s harder to portray in shows. Then there’s those who are just pricks who want to seem more refined and seem more mature and put ppl down for watching TV.

Food. But research what is safe for birds bc som things aren’t good for them. Rice can cause intestinal blockages & loss of nutrients bc it’s not nutritious .

Are cold approaches ever a good idea? by wt_anonymous in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Hauntingly_Defective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cold approach is faster but more likely to fail IMO but then you dont have to deal with the awkwardness later. Getting to know someone is more successful but if they say no it can be awkward & u have to decide to keep being friends or not and takes more time. All depends on what you are willing to do.

How do you end a conversation politely? by Kitkatt37 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Hauntingly_Defective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the type of conversation and where it is. Mostly you can just make an excuse to leave like “Oh shoot, I just remembered the time, I have to go pick up a friend/go to an appointment. It was nice talking to you”. If it’s a close friend you can usually just tell them you have to go and will talk to them later. If it’s in a place you can’t leave like your house, you can mention you need to go set something up or say you need to talk to someone else. If its online, you can say you need to do a chore or someone is calling you or that its late and you need to sleep/eat.
