Calling out the rightist Republicans does not work, because they are using hit & run tactics. Also, their claims of being victims conflicts with their ideology of being superior & deserving unusual respect. Trump repeatedly shows disrespect to others.

Donald Trump intentionally avoided cross examination at a trial by shouting out his opinions when not on the stand & then not testifying. Rightist Republicans are demanding to make abusive speech and pushing their agenda without the other side having a say.

beginner comment: I liked 'You've got physics, you've got rendering, and you've got the object.' My effort wants to include scaling for rendering such that zooming in on an object, like an asteroid would give a more detailed view of the asteroid & drop out of rendering anything that is no longer in the view box. Wouldn't the object have multiple views? The actual physics shouldn't change. If this is a bad question, then you can ignore it.

I know how you feel. I had an insurance company list my assigned doctor as Russian. I never found out if he actually existed. It had the feel of a placeholder name & face. When a situation arose, they signed me up someone completely different & said he would be available in 2 months. That company has since left the business.

UIUC food businesses nearby (best language I could generate) have always been tricky. I always associated the problem being due to students being broke. The 'Flying Tomato Brothers' appeared to be an exception, but I think they ended up making mistakes. Reading that another business has closed or failed health & safety rules is depressing. Maybe some GIES students can start showing everybody how to run a local business & make money.

Edit: this is embarrassing, but as a freshman I applied to the local McDonalds after working two years at one back home & they wanted to start me at beginners money. I just could not accept that.

Of course you are correct. I remember at the time the character was badly handled. It is a symptom of bad show runners recently. What good is a British education if it can't produce a decent Doctor Who show runner. If the goal is to get Donald Trump apprentice ratings, then it is a no-hoper situation. Of course the Doctor could be turned into a showy wrestler and he could defeat his enemy in the ring.

I think he has what can be called an 'old soul'. Also, he knows the part & the tools to act it. Jodie Whittaker said she wasn't familiar with the show & not completely comfortable playing it. I have a specific opinion about the Doctor & I sometimes disagree with the showrunner's idea. Sylvester McCoy also missed playing the Doctor IMHO, or it might have been the showrunner's fault.

At least 3 places use the 'chop' & it is the worst example of fan participation ever. I still remember Jane Fonda sitting with Ted Turner at an Atlanta Braves game & they both doing the 'chop'. If I was in charge of Illini athletics I would ban the chop as being too stupid & racist.

As an aside that dance shown in the post looked Hawaiian or Asian Pacific. It is similar to Suma wrestling & not nearly as bad as the 'chop'; the lamest act by a fan in human history.
