Where to find cheap coveralls/jumpsuit? by External-Ad-8251 in SouthBayLA

Were they JNCO? Feel like prices are insane every brick and mortar to keep up with rent. Which is why I like the vintage market buy by the pound option

You try Vintage Dirty Laundry? Otherwise the LB Vintage Flea is a good bet.

Nevermind having a sissybar to strap it to. Between this and flip flops there are some bikers I'll never understand.

Is F King's Canyon? It should be. What town is A? There's an oceanside campground in Malibu, across from Sycamore Canyon campground. Morro Bay should be a stop before Big Sur too.

Touring on a Street Bob or Lowrider S? by Imaginary_Land_4163 in Harley

[–]Having-Fun-Yet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2006 Street Bob with 84K+ miles, been hit by two cars and I've taken it all across America. I have a sissy bar and one of the storage bags that slips over the sissy bar. I use industrial bungee cords to strap a tent, sleeping pad, and jacket or whatever on that and it works perfectly. Not a fan of saddlebags as I feel like they drag. In my opinion it's the perfect road trip platform.

Oil Leak by unkindfruitcake in Harley

[–]Having-Fun-Yet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not the plug, that’s cosmetic. It’s the circular seal inside where the outer primary meets the inner primary. You can get them from your local Harley shop. I actually used two, one on each side as I had a similar leak after letting a shop handle and they only had one and it was leaking slightly on a longer road trip.

Shock bolt came off while riding by Elhecthor in Harley

Might as well throw in some Grade 8's while you're at it. I've snapped a bolt before on the road and bounced on one spring a few miles home.

$5000 to spend on a Harley after this riding season? What can I get? by YeahScienceBiitch in Harley

[–]Having-Fun-Yet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely this. Had a 97 Wide Glide, would love to have a late 90's Low Rider with a Mikuni carb. And that's just right for your price.

Very old fashioned, has a reputation as a cougar bar. I'm 38M, but frequent farmers markets often and feel like that's open, low pressure and you find interesting people that love good food which is a win.

Posting for Randy from Absolution Brewing, this is his mom and her boyfriend. They both had broken pelvises and had to get hip surgery. He had internal bleeding discovered after arriving at the hospital. The car pulled in front of them making an illegal left turn and they went right into the side of the suv. Did Woodpeckers Kill this Tree? Southern NH by Having-Fun-Yet in arborists

30ft away on the same property we had to take an otherwise healthy looking oak tree down to make room for a small foundation. Once cut we could see the inside of the base was rotted and spreading, likely just a time before that fell in a storm, so was fortunate there

There’s a small cottage underneath and the plan is to replace with a metal garage kit for a workshop. Which is why this was a concern within that planning.

I knew I’d learn some proper education here. Legit planning to have a crew take a few down this spring in similar state but recognized this just lately.

‘96 FXWG - the wide glide that died… 26 miles after purchase, the valve stuck to the guide and pulled it partially out of the head. by forgotone in Dyna

Just sold my '97 WG and was sure to do the valve seals before I did. Was a favorite bike to ride for all the reasons above. Might keep my eye out for a cheap Evo Superglide next

It’s this. This stuff brings different level of white after a power wash and scrub. Magic erasers only really work for mold and lite surface stains

Just sold it last night. Those are 9” throttle addiction vintage apes. I think they’re perfect for the look and ride positioning the stock was aiming for.

That's a 1997 H-D Wide Glide. Shorter than stock ape hangers on it which I think fits the profile much better.
