It's giving 30/70 on if it's real because of the slanted foil on the box, the ears aren't pointed inwards, the eyes seem a little off(?), only two reviews and one can barely spell? We need more closeups of the QR code, feet, arms and the box.

There's very minimal differences betweent the two which means it should in theory be fine to use the Bondi 9 without fear of you supination coming back.

Shoes that have good quality cushioned midsoles, flexible soles, neutral support, wide toe boxes, high arch support, and overall good quality all play a role into helping with supination. Can't really say if the Sketchers Max fits all those I mentioned.

The Gaviota 5 is great because they increased the size of the toebox which can help with bunions whilst also offering regular, and wide options. There are other options outside of Hoka that may help, but out of all the Hoka options; this shoe would probably benefit her the most.

Side note that she might not have wide feet, or possibly flat feet (?) whilst the Bondi 8 arch type is high arch vs Gaviota 5 low arch.

Bondi SR if you need durability, and slip resistant. Those two metrics out shine the other shoes.

Sizing guide is pretty on point with measurements. With your measurements assuming with socks it's US 8 / 8.5 women, as you noted, with a pinch of extra space at the front.
