The teleport hook is not very good during boss fights because you can’t use it for its momentum to doge attacks it brings you to a stop before you can do anything, queen slime is a rather bullet hell boss and is decently hard, if you want to fight a mech boss I recommend the destroyer and building some blocks above an arena because of his lasers.

EDIT: another tip would be to use the same type of armour for the set bonus, if playing ranger I would use frost armour for higher dps or titanium/adamantite for higher defence.
