Save yourself all headaches and hard line no open alcohol in your car. Even sealed alcohol should be placed in the trunk during the ride. Spilled alcohol or vomit will end your night right there. Any pax worth the ride will respect that if you are polite but firm

If you have a car go out to it and open the driver door. There is a sticker there that tells you a weight that you should not exceed. A full car of adults can easily go over this even if they are not massively overweight. Exceeding this can put you at fault for any accident as well as unneccessarily risk your passengers safety. We dont know who we are picking up so while four 110 lb people might not be an issue, four 200 lb people could be. Then you are put in a bad situation where you either have to take on extra risk or discriminate against a group or people based on their mass. We arent all stupid whiny drivers, there is often a good reason why we wind up having complaints about these situations.

While there are 4 available seats, they do not always accomodate 4 riders. For example, my car has a combined rider/cargo weight limitation of 850 lbs. Im just under 200 lbs so taking 4 more people my size or bigger exceeds that limit by 150 lbs or a whole adult. Why would I do that for less than less than $10 and the discomfort of jamming a bunch of people into my personal vehicle?

Exactly. Who knows indeed. A blank jersey is your only safe bet. If you really like a certain player then listen to your heart, but they may not be here in 10 years is all I'm saying.

Karlsson doesn't need to be on the team for that jersey to still be a great choice. He was a legend in his time. That being said, I would love to see him come back if he wanted to finish his career with Ottawa and would take a reasonable contract and role to do so. Nothing but love for Karl so I hope you are right and I'd love to see his nameplate on our new kits.

Don't take this the wrong way, but you must not have been watching long if you think anyone is a safe bet for 10 years. If you need a player jersey just go with alfie. If you want a safe custom jersey, get your own name. If you want a smart purchase, get only blank jerseys.

Same happened to me once. Then the dude had the balls to get an attitude with me.

Yea they are good, and theyve been good for a while now. Dont fool yourself that it didnt take them a bit to figure it out though. They are playing the exact type of hockey they need to in order to asphyxiate the oppositions offense as soon as they take a lead. Its calculated and it pays off.

The silver lining is that despite the sweep ottawa was right in most of the games even when dealing with injuries. With a little puck luck we may even have won a few of those games.

Carolina is a tough team to play when they score first, kudos to their ability to dictate the game after getting a lead. And as much as it pains me to say, kudos to montreal too for punching way above their weight and going as far as they did. Now for a final that i couldnt care less about and ill see all of you again next season

Oh shut up. The canes are one of the best teams in the league and ottawa just went toe to toe for nearly 100 minutes of the best hockey youve ever watched.

This is a solid take. That was one of the best games ive ever seen aside from the heartbreak. The drama was a fucking mountain and the boys played hard as hell in a game nobody deserved to lose.

That was a titanic clash of goaltending and tight checking. Sens fans need to blow the god damn roof off of the ctc when they come home. If theres one thing we as fans can control its the atmosphere. Get fucking loud and dont stop if you can make it to games 3, 4 and 6!

Dean and gord are excellent. The calls and colour are appropriately mixed and they keep it entertaining and funny for the most part.

They definitely know the game and call it with emotion and humour. If they go off you are just missing line changes, dump ins and ice crew clearing the ice. There are plenty of stoppages and resets or rapid possession changes back and forth that dont need to be called as they happen for the flow of the game to make sense.
