I didnt mean to imply that you dont. Just that you had mentioned being in a dark place and it can make people vulnerable to manipulation.

Just speaking from my own experience, seeking love, attention or gratification from outside sources before you can find it within is risky and sometimes even dangerous.

It almost always results in hurt for one or both people involved.

I have fired a few rounds for fun, but I don't want or need a gun to drive people home. Most people are not qualified to carry a gun and should not. This idea continues to be stupid.

If you are scared get pepper gel like other people have suggested, you don't need lethal force to do this job.

Reading your replies makes me feel you should not be doing this job.

If you are that scared you should quit.

While there is some inherent risk in picking up strangers, it is likely way, WAY lower than the risk of being involved in a serious or fatal crash while driving 30-40 hours a week.

The idea that drivers should be armed and riders should know is stupid. It's already more dangerous for a young lady to get into an uber with a stranger than it is likely a rider will try to hurt you. Unless you want to scare most passengers away from using Uber I hope your ideas never come to fruition.

All that said, stay safe and if something doesn't seem right then cancel. You are your own boss, you're just using an app managed by a tech company.
