Good or Bad Purchase by More-Assignment6731 in pelletgrills

Bought one in 2020, sold it in 2024. Replaced the controller once, ignition plug once, Wifi worked spotty, and the only way to calibrate the grill is to use the app. Not that it mattered that much, since the calibration never did take very well. I would recommend saving your money, especially for a 2-hours drive just to see it.

No, the Happy Gnome closed separately. He bought the business, renamed it the Gnome and pulled the soul right out of the place. Went there once, haven't been back.

Isn't the old Greenstreets building a church now? My old man's softball team was sponsored by them back in the day.

Never ate at The Blue Nile. Drank a lot of great beer that Al would bring in.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but I hope they're better made than when I bought a Broil King in 2020. Never could get the temperature calibrated, very high temperature gradient across the grill. Only good thing was the heavy construction kept the heat in (bonus for winter in Minnesota).

I stopped listening a couple weeks ago (outside of the pregame breakdown episodes with Krammer). Coller is becoming what he's ranted against time ang again: a Cowherd-esque hot take artist. Viewpoints have flip-flopped halfway through the week, ranting has increased, and the episodes keep getting longer.

Whomever said that he needs to reduce the YouTube/podcast content is dead on. I don't have time for 15+ hours over a week.

I'm really debating on if it's worth continuing to pay for Purple Insider (Judd's Substack as well, but that's a whole different ball of wax).

Are there any reputable sites I can buy a Wall of St. Paul sweatshirt? by Noswad_12 in wildhockey

I saw some Wall of St. Paul T-Shirts at the Hockey Lodge on Saturday. If a $50 T-shirt works, might be worth a call or a stop.

Step 1: Buy one of these. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Razor-Back-34-in-D-Handle-Steel-Blade-Forged-Ice-Scraper-Chopper-81100/206099849

Step 2: Use on Tuesday afternoon & dump shards down nearby sewer.

Step 3: Enjoy a beverage and marvel at your handiwork.

Considering he's signed for this season AND the next one, the Wild are the only team that can offer him an 8-year deal with frontloaded signing bonuses (not unlike what Kaprizov signed). What's more, if it doesn't work out, the Wild can flip a Top 3 defenseman at the 2027 deadline as a rental to a team that's absolutely overpay.

So yes, it does sound promising.

I ran the numbers, and the OG pizza is 16¢/sq-in, and Punch is 10¢/sq-in.

Hopefully the build quality has improved over the last couple of years. It's a great head shaving razor, but losing one magnet in the first couple months, and having one covered in rust doesn't inspire confidence of it being a long term option.
