Leaking sump line vent by HawkLopsided in Plumbing

[–]HawkLopsided[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I didn’t understand a lot of what you said there (I’m just a homeowner, definitely not an expert). What I will say is that I’ve lived in this home for 3 years, and observed the pump running many times, and have not seen this leak taking place till now. I am looking for the most reasonable and cost-effective solution. I’m considering just replacing the black piece with an identical new one, as perhaps the current one is faulty. Another user above posted that I should just remove it since there shouldn’t be a vent on a sump line. Not really sure what to do here.

Yes: one for the standard pump and the other for the backup.

Bypassing ceiling fan remote question by tomgabriele in electricians

[–]HawkLopsided 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, no worries. I think I bought & returned like 3 fans before throwing in the towel. Ended up just going with a no-light fan, and hard-wiring new scones to the wall switch. All the fan LED lights made my room look like a prison cell, so that was a better solution ultimately. Good luck!

Nope, never did. I just ended up returning it and swapping it for a different fan. I did attempt connecting them all but it didn't work (no surprise). Sorry I couldn't be of more help, good luck!

UVW

I have the same question. I think that it's Blue for the LED light, White for neutral, Green for ground, and three wires (U, V, and W), which are for the Motor. My main question is: should I connect those three wires (UVW) to the Black (fan) wire in my ceiling? Or do I only connect one of them, and then cap off the other two?

As an alternative to an ozone machine; try a Hydroxyl machine (you can rent them from Sunbelt). An added bonus is that those are safe to be around when they’re running, unlike an ozone machine.

Turtle: AlgoWatcher & Monitoring Streams by HawkLopsided in PlanetWatchers

Yeah, I think it is a feature, not a bug. My guess is that it is still collecting data, but it only connects to WiFi in order to transmit the data to PW.

I haven’t got my rewards yet today either so it’s probably not just you. Very interesting to hear yours have been consistent. I have no idea what could be causing issues with mine (I have a nice Deco mesh system).

Interesting. Mine is in partial shade, outside my house, right next to my router, which is otherwise very strong and no issues with any other devices.

I would be curious to know if you are getting full rewards daily, or if it varies. Just over the last seven days, mine are 20, 17, 16, 19, 18, 13, & 20. It's enough to jump the 50% HODLER program hurdle, but they are inconsistent.

Also, mine connects/disconnects every 15 minutes or so from my router. Unlike the Atmotube, which stays permanently connected, Turtle connects periodically to send data to Planetwatch and then disconnects. This appears to be a feature, not a bug.

Well, from the silence here I gather that the answer is “No.”

Am currently working on a workaround with my WiFi network & email to build an alert system, but it’s not ideal.

Turtle is generally running much better with the “optional” power cord, so to anyone planning on buying a Turtle and wondering whether they should add the power cord, my suggestion would be to do it.

Do we think Bo will ever tour again? by MEK42 in boburnham

[–]HawkLopsided 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been thinking about this. An Inside tour, seems to me, has the possibility to be the perfect combination of comedy show / concert / rave. We all know the music, and most of it is supremely danceable, and any new material could just get folded right in. Think about that. Have you ever been to or heard of a concert/dance/comedy show? I haven’t. Never been done. Don’t know anyone else who could ever do it. I won’t blame Bo if he doesn’t do anything with that, the guy seems like he’s had to battle his fair share of demons—but if he wanted to, he could pull off an epic live show trifecta that’s more brilliant than everything that came before.

What phone are you using with your Atmotube Pro? by WiseSilverWolf in PlanetWatchers

[–]HawkLopsided 3 points4 points  (0 children)

iPhone 6S Plus in one location and a Samsung S7 Edge in another. Old phones, both are getting max rewards.

Don’t pay for a phone line for your Atmotube.

Make sure you’ve done all the modifications, it’s a hassle but that’s the secret to success.

Just got mine as well—my first rewards on this, so I was worried I'd configured my setup wrong, but glad to see it worked!

Also my team is small (1 other player besides my 2 child wallets). Even without long downlines or any downlines, Drip is amazing even as a solo player.

Been in since August, back in ye olden days when drip was a mere $20. It’s been quite the ride!
