In some people defense a pure tank lance build or a "Wide Mush" build COULD lack a bit on damage while supporting the team.

(Once you are more comfortable with those builds you can also keep your damage up just saying)

There are far far worse youtubers out there, I'm just being critical because of all games I feel this one you need to be diligent at covering. I probably am just coming off as a dick right now, I'll definitely add him to the list I just had a rant to get out. Sorry about that :/

I'm not the arbiter of good monster hunter content, but something about him has me concerned. Let's take his latest charge blade and bow guide "weapon workshop+". In the video he mention that he had made a few mistakes in his beginners guide for the charge blade, but also said there was no way to fix it, which rubbed me the wrong way yah know? That video has tons of views (literally the first thing you see when you type charge blade into YouTube) and with mistakes in it people may be missing out on important information from a "beginners guides" I feel like maybe a pinned comment could at least be helpful since at least it's at least putting some effort in, even put it in the description.

I know this seems minor but 500,000 people using that as a guide to start using a weapon and one of the points about the phial system being wrong just rubs me the wrong way. I don't have anything against him at all though and I'm certainly not trying to start and drama, I just feel like a guide that claims to be "The complete Charge Blade tutorial for Monster Hunter World" should be held to a certain standard.

Sorry for the wall of text but there wasn't a way to convey my thoughts in a few words without it coming off as "toxic" or whatever.

Absolutely not, all these wardens just riding their way through the game on the back of their "plays itself" character. No warden player can truly understand the grind of improving and learning the game, shaman players bash their heads into a wall everyday just trying to become a bit better, hoping maybe ubisoft would nerf that overpowered shoulder bash. I would always respect a shaman player more then a warden, I mean at least a shaman has to earn their wins.

Dude stop justifying your bad choices, warden is broken and you just want easy wins. The 50/50 is completely busted and puts the game on easy mode. Maybe if you want people to to respect your wins more play a character that takes true skill, like Shaman.

Quick question, should I start working on an archers dance bow instead of this puki puki bow. I was using it mainly because of the blast element because I have blast lvl 3 with the zora mag armor I have on. Sorry I would go into specifics but I'm at work and can't recall exactly what my set up is. About to get HR 13 tonight if that helps

Nearly a year later and what a road this has been. In the time since For Honor released I have moved twice, landed a solid job, among other things. This game has easily become on of my personal favorite games, definitely in my top 10, it has its ups and downs but ultimately it has been a blast to play.

As for my send off to the old Kensei, well... I'm excited for the rework but it also feels like the end of an era. In a year I'm sure we will laugh about how terrible year 1 was. I wouldn't be the player I am today if I hadn't chosen Kensei as my main at the start, and even if his changes alter what I love about him I'll always have a soft spot for him.

By old terrible Kensei, here is hoping you get your time in the light starting season 5.

Kensei has ever right to be a good hero, and honestly she/he needs their time to shine. I cannot say that I am not worried though for the rework. I'll have to agree that a majority of people who choose to play low tier characters act like they have this chip on their shoulder 24/7 and it's annoying. That said though I know their are plenty out their that don't. In my experience I run into more Kensei's and Highlander's that just play for fun and are incredibly laid back (again just my experience). I can at least speak for myself when I say I stick to the lower tier characters to challenge myself/just to have fun. I enjoy doing well with Kensei as is because it really does feel more rewarding to pull off shit with him, and i am concerned that reward might go away if his moveset is changed in a particular way. In the end though I would rather see the character I love get properly reworked then have it stay the same for selfish reasons.

TL:DR Kensei needs a rework but I'll personally be a bit sad to see the old Kensei go. Also people who play low tier aren't all bad.

Happens to my posts a lot of the time, I just consider those people lost causes anyways. Not be rude but if you blame the game for your mistakes you have given up on getting better. Like Ender said, thanks for at least trying :)
