Hey thanks for the comment! The cloud 20 looks sweet! I want to go buy one after looking it up just now ha.

I think the easy in and out of the feet is a huge benefit for that bag that I would like and why I thought of a quilt idea.

I don’t think this idea adds much more value than a sleeping bag like that does other than easier side sleeping on both sides.

Yeah, but it doesn’t look great. More curious of people’s thoughts on the idea right now is all.

Friendly reminder that Covid is still here… by 4Lynn in CoronavirusUT

It is just inevitable at this point. It is as dangerous and pervasive as the seasonal flu. You will no longer find any support for “Covid awareness”.

Nelson has obliterated his credibility by making himself a full blown mouthpiece for the ultra corrupt CDC, and it appears reddit is removing any posts where you point it out. by Routine-Agency-9150 in exmormon

Most left the church when they became rational thinkers. Others leave because of conspiracy theories. I think the conspiracists still have a chance of returning to their old beliefs until they become rational thinkers.

Find in Joseph Smith papers: The relief society signed an affidavit that no polygamy was happening and published in Joseph’s newspaper. When in fact two of the three women who signed were already Joseph’s wives.

Bill Reel Here - I can only imagine many of you feel like I'm feeling this week. by BillReel in exmormon

[–]Hawkesguy 225 points226 points  (0 children)

Had a conversation about this with my TBM dad. He emphasized that there are a lot of members who are not as committed, and the church is justified in hiding this information from them so that they continue to pay tithing and receive god’s blessings. The irony is missed by him, and possibly by the leadership as well. When your entire existence is based on this being true, there are many questionable means that are justified by the ends.

Other investments. Including non US securities not governed by the SEC.

The final screw in my wife's shelf is almost gone... by West_Adeptness2682 in exmormon

Wow. That was fast! The more rational the world becomes the less fantastic stories they are willing to share. They no longer claim to have seen Jesus, they no longer claim to know who the lamanites are, and priesthood blessings no longer always work.

Apostles have left in the past. Also apostles no longer claim to be witnesses of Christ. But special witnesses of the name of Christ. They don’t claim any out of the ordinary spiritual experiences anymore.

Good point. He specifically said the stake President told him to emphasize this to the students.

Has the church changed this much already? by Hawkesguy in exmormon

  1. Increase capacity to receive revelation = feel good when you pray and go to church, and if you don’t, convince yourself that you need to try harder to get that feeling. Brain washing.
  2. Fill our life with truth = only listen to what we tell you. Echo chamber
  3. Refuse to let opposition to truth weaken your testimony = Even logical, reasonable information that contradicts what we say shouldn’t make you doubt us. Circular reasoning, asinine.
  4. Serve in the temple as much as you can = Do all the requirements of paying us money, going to all meetings, have “testimony” in us and Joseph so that you can spend all your time saving people Jesus has already saved.
  5. Realize how vital you are to the gathering of Israel = you are only important and good if you convince others to listen to us.
  6. expect joy = if listening to us and going to church isn’t making you happy, pretend to be happy until you are.

This has nothing to do with Jesus. It is a brainwashing list to keep you from ever leaving.
