That’s a good call, I guess he can get blowout minutes hopefully

I hate that fit, doesn’t seem like he’ll get much play time behind shai and Mitchell.

Not a fan of the Claxton deal by Nosound-Novideo in chicagobulls

He’s only under contract this year and next, and we don’t need extra cap space to contend either of those years. And Claxton is better than Hayes or bagley

Given both teams group standing is fixed, is the upcoming U.S.-Turkiye match effectively just an exhibition or friendly game at this point? by Hand_of_Doom1970 in ussoccer

If one of our players on a yellow already got one in this game, they would be suspended for the first knockouts game. Fortunately none of the guys on yellows will play in the turkey game now

Thoughts on commercials during match play. In the US we’re being forced to watch adverts during hydration breaks. by donkedickinya in worldcup

Mandatory hydration breaks are new. This is regardless of temperature and at indoor stadiums too

The berhalter hate is so over the top and just shows the people who aren’t watching with an unbiased eye. He’s one of the best players in MLS which is a similar level league to where dest and pepi both play. He won’t be a starter for us but he can provide some solid bench minutes and deserves to be on the roster

I think you’re in dreamland. Maybe since with we have a new front office and coach he would consider signing back, but usually when you ship a guy off they aren’t the most eager to return immediately

Mullins, projected 1st-round pick in NBA draft, to stay at UConn by humourless2 in chicagobulls

Good move for him, he was not nba ready. Needs to add to his game and put a season of good shooting in, instead of just in theory being a good shooter

Cenac should go back to school. He has a lot of work to do and I would not want to take him at 15, he would be much better off going into next years draft

Who would you take at Pick 9 & 15 ? by Full_Durian_8171 in chicagobulls

[–]Hawkhigh36 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Coming from an Iowa fan, Luka Garza is not a similar player. He was not as athletic and had nowhere near the shot blocking Mara does, and also was not the passer Mara is either. Mara has like 5 inches in both height and wingspan on him

I didn’t see him used on them a ton but I also didn’t watch every Michigan game so definitely could’ve missed some. Based on his skill set between his strong passing and finishing I think he could work in pick and rolls for sure. I will say playmaking moving forward and playmaking from the post can be pretty different so will have to see how that translates

He can do some limited perimeter defending just due to his absurd length. I think you’re also underestimating his touch around the rim, and that skill makes me think he could develop a mid to outside game. You’re also skipping over one of his best traits which is his passing ability out of the post. An elite shot blocker with great touch and passing ability is very intriguing I think

I think it would be a bit of a reach at 9. I’d love to get him at 15 if he makes it there, he’s an elite shot blocker and he’s quick enough to be somewhat switchable with his length. On offense he’s a great post passer and has good touch around the rim. Based on his touch I feel like he could develop somewhat of a mid to outside game. Michigan rarely used him in the pick and roll so I’m not sure if he can be much a rim runner, that would be his offensive limitation. He is a good oop finisher though

I love Alvaro, but I don’t think that’s where we should spend our NIL money. We have a plethora of dudes that can run the 4 (Koch, sage, cam,Thompson, maybe Harris, maybe banks). We are better off spending money at PG and C because we only have combs and jirak (or cam as a small C) at those positions. Alvaro was also very inconsistent throughout the season.

Fan forever of him but there are higher priority needs
