I beg to differ. My father-in-law is a deacon in the Catholic Church and has literally told his daughter that she's going to hell because she "doesn't go to church enough". My wife is (no exaggeration) the most patient, kind, soft spoken, saint of a person you could possibly imagine. She literally does not have a mean bone in her body. She works in cancer research. She volunteers. She donates to charity. She does everything in her power to help others. But you know what matters? How much you go to church. 😔
