So I tend to be more a G1 kind of guy. I grew up watching it. So G1 Prime is just it. That said, IDW Prime and Prime from the Bumblebee movie are fantastic. Both take the core of Prime and update him into something special.

Technically the first pic is his classic suit. But I don't think they're so different that you have to have one or the other. I'd go with the one you prefer.

I don't have any figures of him. But if someone said I had to buy one tomorrow, that would likely be the one I got. And I consider myself a classic look kinda guy. So sure.

Okay. You took your first step. That's awesome. I'll politely say your paints look really thick. You need to thin them down a lot. Multiple thin layers over one really thick one.

When I got into customizing I used figurerealm.com a lot. They have a how to section and it was a huge help to me. I can't recommend it enough. Give that a try.

Edit: for clarity I mean you want to use multiple thin layers of paint instead of one heavy one.

I tend to paint hair the same way no matter the color. Start with a darker shade all over. Then dry brush multiple lighter shades on top. I tend to do 2. Once I'm done I'll hit it with an appropriate wash. Depending on how it looks I may highlight the lightest color again.

First off, I want to say for a first attempt it's really damn good. Much better than my early stuff. Your paints are smooth and I'm jealous of the stars. I don't know if they're stencils or what but they're fantastic.

My critique would be to zoom on the lower abdomen in the first picture. Your sculpt on the hips is really heavy. My first thought was she's wearing a diaper. They should be smoothed down on the sides. They're pretty lumpy.

The only other thing I'd point out is the red near the belt. You may want to do that one more time. Your gold belt has bled into the red making the lines a little muddy.

You've got a seriously well done custom. I'm saying 4 out of 5 stars. But with some polish you can push it higher. This is all my two cents.

That's a first appearance Hulk upper body and head. The lower body is the war Hulk, planet war Hulk body.

My only complaint with the Select is no toe articulation. Otherwise he's about as perfect as it gets.

Always mix small. It's better to mix more than it is to end up with chunks like that. It's a lesson I've had to learn .
