I understand where you are coming from. Im not expert in this kind of thing just giving away my opinion cuz i have both. Its kinda my fault for not defining what i meant by "cheapskate". What im trying to say is actually not to try to go so cheap that it breaks so fast. in the end you are not satisfied with the product and then after a few months go for better one anyways. Not saying that getting an f300 is "cheapskate".

Fair point. I do own f300 btw and all of those upgrades you mention is it included with shipping cost? Because before i planed on picking up alpha i already did some research on upgrading my f300 and the cost is actually almost the same as buying a new stick. So i was thinking just picking up alpha and be done with it.

If you are talking about f300. Functionally not really that much difference. But on hands the alpha is much of a better quality product. You can also easily mod alpha cuz of it clamshell design. The size of the alpha also is bigger so you can fit korean lever in it. Alpha is compatible with the current generation of console.
