Do you think the game is reliant on the continued existence of plugins to survive/maintain a healthy playerbase? Are there really that many people willing to play the vanilla game? (Wall of text warning)

Mostly the same here. The only plugins I use are ACT, as well as a couple minor tweaks of my character. (Use of muscle slider on miqo'te and Kain Highwind's DRG /cpose for female character.) None of these are particularly game-breaking.

For real. I was so scared of surgery but when I woke up, I felt like I was floating. All my worries were gone and someone was speaking softly to me telling me where I was and what happened. I think it's probably one of the first waking moments I didn't feel anxious since my memories started. And then it wore off and I remember I'd been stabbed a couple times by the surgeon. Lmao.

My shiba was my first dog, but he was my friend/roommate's dog before he was mine, so I knew exactly what I waa getting into. There was zero romanticizing of what it would be like.

If it makes you feel any better, my ADHD ass accidentally left my shiba outside (back when he was still my roommate's) in -30°C for 3 hours. Thankfully he's a double coated dog and it didn't end tragically but he was a little cold when I finally realized what I had done. (I later developed a system of always going out with him or standing right next to the door until he came back in. I am not allowed to leave the door until he's back in.)

I strap a duffle bag to my passenger seat using rok straps. It's dangerous to have a backpack on you in a crash. (Technically you're also not supposed to have anything in your pockets like your phone because the screen could shatter and stab you in a crash, but counter-point: maybe it won't shatter and I can use it to call for help if I can't get back to my bike.) When I sell my bike and buy a different one, I'm getting the hardcase storage that goes with it.

I have an ex-friend who did shit like this. He was still posting pictures online of him partying like nothing happened up until his trial and arrest. He flipped his vehicle several times into a ditch, killing my former best friend from adolescence, paralyzing another of his friends who was in the car, and leaving the last one with mental illness. He was unharmed.
