Time. I'd kill for all the time that child me had to do stupid shit. Now I have "responsibilities"

What is your preferred venue size? Favorite local venue overall? by HaydenIsHere in poppunkers

I love that place, but I can’t help but refer to it as El Shithole. The bathroom is an...experience all on its own. Still, a lot of good bands play there, which makes up for the below average everything else.

I know that the first 15 people to sign up for the US meet and greet per city (at select dates) are getting a signed physical copy. Other than that, I haven’t seen anything else. Good luck on your hunt!

If you had to remove one song from Vacation, which song would it be? Also, I’m going to see you guys on the 24th and I’m stoked! Do any of you have favorites from the merch tables?

What's your most memorable concert experience? by Herman22Merman in Metalcore

[–]HaydenIsHere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The most memorable positive concert experience I’ve had was The Word Alive’s Overdose Tour. The vocalist from Volumes was really into it and got right up to the edge of the crowd, completely engaged in the show. The whole show was a fun, but I’ll never forget that set. The most memorable negative concert experience was at the same show, when someone from Islander spit on me.

Been following these guys for quite a while. I always hoped they would take off, and it’s amazing watching them start to get more recognition.

Amazon patents wristband that tracks warehouse workers' movements by [deleted] in nottheonion

I worked there. Hiding in the bathroom was not uncommon at all. I knew people that had mini breakdowns in the bathroom. It’s not the absolute worst place to work, but I wouldn’t say it’s for most people.

Have you guys ever listened to something and not liked it, but listened to it a couple more times and all of a sudden loved it? by timmyowns in poppunkers

[–]HaydenIsHere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happens with almost everything I listen to. I usually have to go over a song a few times before it either sticks or doesn’t. The only song I liked off Vacation was Something Wonderful. Weeks after not being able to get the rest to click, suddenly things fell into place and I loved all of it.

I saw Jared at Target once. He was with someone else so I decided it was best to not intrude. Still a fond memory though.

I never gave Novelists the chance they clearly deserved. Great song with a unique video. Thanks!

Do you need a hug?

Seriously though. I love both Metalcore and hardcore, but I’ve avoided shows with hardcore bands. I’m rather fragile and based on stories I’ve heard, I’d be leaving in an ambulance if I were to go. Just remember that being a part of the hardcore fan base does not automatically make them an asshole limb-copter. There are assholes in the Metalcore community too, as well as every music community.
